My parents never allow me to go out for a movie. They always say that you will only waste your time. But when I watch movies at home no one stops or comments. Does your parents also stops you to go out for a movie.

frankly speaking,I never ever go out for a movie. I think download movies and see it on computer or mp4 in the dorm or classroom is more convenient.if you go out for a movie, you have to by bus for a long time.also, the ticket is expensive.in my opinion,if you want to date with your romantic partner,it could be good because of the atmosphere provided by theater.while if you just want to see the movie, downloading it or see it online could be a better choice.

Ya its expensive! but that's not the reason to stop me. The reason is they don't want me to get in a habit of it as far as I am concerned.

I love watching movies.I cannot live without them.It was a good thing that my father loved to watch movies as well when he was younger. Now he is too busy with his work to watch movies, but still watches the occasional one. Neither of my parents protest when I go out for a movie, which is twice or thrice a month. But they will surely object if I go out for movies 2-3 times a week. I try to watch a movie on my pc everyday.I miss somedays when I am busy. But usually I download movies from the net and watch them.

No thank god they also watch movies. I dont think its a waste of time. Its all about having fun and escaping the world for a few hours which is why I love movies plus you can learn from movies. When I watched mall cop I had no idea mustangs were orginaly named after a pf51 ww2 mustang jet I always thought it was after the horse.

oh yes, they stop me from watching the movies, outside cause it has become more expensive to watch them multiplexes. Where the caramel popcorn itself is costlier for then ticket itself. But anyway, i still go and watch it is the whole charm of watching the movie on bigger screen than on television.

I don't live with my parents anymore so they don't stop me from watching movies outside of the home. But when I did live at home they let me go to movies if I wanted to. I just went to the movie on July 31st with my friend to see The Ugly Truth. It was a good movie and I'm going to buy it when it comes out on dvd.

no, my parents doesnt stop me as I didnt grew up with them. nor did the other elders in our house stopped me to watch since I was kid. Lucky that they too watches movies and enjoys it a lot. I don't think that watching movies is a waste of time because it will make you more creative and will give you ideas. But you should of course choose what you watch. and should just limits the time you spend. me and my wife always watch movies at home or at the mall every week. Its not really waste of time but rather adds another topic to our conversation later on. but we only watch movies at weekend, so it doesnt affects our work or lessen our family time.

I have never really thought about it like that, and I do see both sides. But I think it is not a waste of time, because if you watch movies you are either on a date, with your friend, alone trying to pass time, or with your family. All of these are benefited by watching movies because I guess it can help to grow relationships in some way. Happy mylotting.

I am a preachers daughter so my parents were very strict on the types of movies that were watched in our home or at the theater. I enjoy watching movies and it is a way to have clean fun. Let your parents know that watching movies are harmless compared to the things teenagers and young adults can get into these days.

Y it depends upon age. Are you married and have kids. If yes then you are a parent yourself. Now brother a new question for you exclusively: Will you allow your kids to go out for a movie with there friends when they are 16 or 17 ?
