Hi mylotters.
I've decided to start regular workout after my vacation and I have three options:
1. Going to gym about 2-3 times a week.
2. Going to swimming poor about 2 times a week
3. Going to gym 1-2 times a week and also one time a week to swimming pool.
My aim is not to loose weight, but to build up muscles. I've never been a sport fan in the past, so it's important for me to start doing something.
I'd like You to give me an advice, Which option should I choose to get the maximum effect? If you have any experience please share.
Jolly mylotting!

i would say that swimming is an over all work out. swimming works out the whole body. i would say do both this way you brake up the work out and you won't get bored. once you are bored then you don't want to work out. so do both and enjoy

Personally, if those are your only two options I'd go with the gym. I tried swimming all last summer, nearly every day of the week. But I didn't lose a single pound! I didn't even look like I was in shape.
Now that I'm running this summer, I still haven't lost any weight. But at least my legs look all nice and toned. Well, they're getting there.

I'd also go to the gym, but I'll run a lot and do a lot of cardio. This one will definitely make you lose weight. And then make sure you have a healthy diet. You need to go the gym to lift some weights, not heavy ones. You need weights to make sure that you won't have sagging skin from the weight loss.
