Yaoi in manga and anime

What's your take on this topic? I actually love reading manga or watching anime shows revolved around yaoi or shonen ai (I prefer yaoi though). I also like reading yaoi fanfiction, but it's hard to find some good fanfics with good pairings.

I absolutely love yaoi, and actually went through a minor 'have to watch tonnes of yaoi or else' phase this week. I just adore the relationships and the couplings, and the lack of randomly female body parts being on screen all the time lol! I shall admit to liking both kinds of yaoi, though the latter is something I have found rather hard to track down, the former is easy to find though and very enjoyable when in a full series (I really enjoyed Loveless and DNAngel). I don't usually read fanfics though because my attention span completely sucks, so I would have to have it in book form and as of yet I haven't come across it in local stores lol! But overall yea, I can safely say that I adore yaoi, and it is nice to come across someone else who does as well :o)

Yeah, I've been into yaoi for a couple years now. It's nice to meet another yaoi fan.

umm, before I respond further, I want to ask something. .
the yaoi you referring is a fanservice or the 'other' one?

They are both fan services and both involve 'boy love'. Yaoi is more sexually explicit than shounen ai. Shounen ai is less explicit; it usually involves kissing, holding hands, or even hugging
