Hi there, well I have the same problem. At night I cannot sleep and sometimes spend about 2hrs turning around in bed but then in the morning when it's time to wake up for work i feel as if I'm pinned to the bed. After my first alarm goes off I sleep again and then wake up late for work. Don;t know how to solve this problem.
I have to cut off coffee intake late in the evening, which i haven't done yet. Someone also told me to drink a cup of chamomile before going to bed as it calms you down and relaxes you. But I don;t like that. Maybe this can work for you.

I heard that eating fresh cherries helps with sleeping so I have been trying this the last week - but only because I like them and they are in season right now.

Another mylotter had made a discussion on insomnia and she said that eating cherries will help you to sleep better and throughout the night. It worked for her however, I haven't tried it yet so I can't say whether it works or not but maybe you should try it and tell us about it.....(hint hint) LOL

Hi momma! I have the same problem and have had it for many
years! I wish I could tell you that there is a cure, but I
have not been able to find one or my doctors haven't been
able to give me one that works either and they have tried
many! They won't give me sleeping meds because they are
addictive and only a temporary fix! So all I can tell you is
that it is a very annoying problem and you just have to find
the best way for you to try to deal with it. I sometimes try
to read a book to get sleepy or will sometimes get up out
of bed and come back to mylot. I don't really recommend that
because that usually overstimulates me and makes it harder
to fall back to sleep. The reading does work alot better!

It happens to me sometimes too. It's generally when I have something on my mind that's making me even a little anxious or it happens when I am over tired, have missed some sleep and so my system is out of sorts.
Make sure you have a routine which allows you to get enough sleep and stick to this routine. If you miss some sleep, have a break as soon as possible within 24 hours, just meditate, lie down and close your eyes or read. 20 minutes can even bring things back to normal.

i will advice u to start practicing yoga in the morning and also try to do meditation, it will really help u..
i use to do yoga regularly n i never became ill or got sick throughout the year.
it will take time to do yoga properly, may be u will not able to do yoga or have some pain in ur body after doing yoga but after some time it will become ur hobby.
n u will enjoy to do yoga..
u should try it from now onwards otherwise may be possible ur problem get bigger n bigger...
