How many hours of sleep do you guys usually have every night and how well do you cope with it in the morning? My sister can act perfectly fine in the morning with just 3 or 4 hours of sleep but I can't function unless I get my solid 8 hours.. how about you guys?

3-4 hours sleep is fine for older men because they have used to sleep less because they are too busy to get 8 hours sleep. The young ones need more sleep as the adult do. The young ones have more time to sleep if they are not yet employed. Or it depends on the condition on how a person has a full/part time jobs to get enough sleep. At my age, sleeping for 3-4 hours is enough for me already.

I usually have have 5,6 hours of sleep at night, and i feel ok the next morning. I think the most important one is to keep the biological clock consistent. Let say, try to sleep at the same time every night, and wake up at the same time every morning. when your body get used to the routine, pretty sure you'll be fine the next morning :)

I need my 8 hours too but sometimes I need to stay up to do work but the next day I'll have to sleep some more to get back my hours. If I stayed up late, I can cope with a cup of coffee.

It depend on my eyes and my motivation. If that night I have to do a lot of work, I will stay up late, maybe around 1 or 2 am. I need to sleep early as I had to wake up by 5.30 am. But if I'm really tired, i can sleep at 8 pm until 5.30 am. I used to do it, but now because I had things to do, I will sleep really late. In the morning, i will make sure I'm having a breakfast and smile, so I'm not really cranky because of sleep deprivation.

Oh, this has been questioned earlier. I actually sleep for more than 8 hours a day since I got back here in the Philippines, because i'm currently unemployed.

I have to get about 8 hours sleep every night or I can't function in the morning. Sometimes I sleep 6 hours but I feel awful in the morning. Sometimes I sleep longer but usually it's 8 hours

I usually get betwee 6 and 7 hours sleep. This is mainly because of my daughter she usually wakes up very early in the morning for her bottle and she wont let me go back to sleep. I can function fine on little hours, even as little as 4 or 5 but i cannot function properly on broke sleep no matter how long it is.

During the summer I work full time, so I'm up around 730am every day. Usually I get about 4-5 hours a night. On weekends I sleep more.. because I go to bed around 4am and get up at like noon haha!
