kittens!!

We are night owls around here. I went to bed about 3am. When my husband came to bed about 5:30am, he woke me up to tell me that our cat, Angel, was going to have kittens. There is a pull over Miami Dolphins coat that will not stay on a hanger & always ends up on the floor of the computer room. Angel loves to get in that coat & that is where she had the kittens, right next to the basket I fixed up for her with a towel in it. *sigh* I woke up about 7:30am today to use the bathroom & I checked on Angel. She had kittens, but I didn't want to disturb. I went back to bed & got up again 4 hours later. This time I counted the kittens. There are 8 of them & they are all pure black. Angel is a long haired black cat. There is a male in the neighborhood that looks just like her. I can't wait until the kittens get bigger & start running around the house!

How gorgeous! My two cats have been sterilized so I won’t be having any kittens running around my house any time soon! My sister’s cat had kittens much to her surprise as she didn’t even know her cat was pregnant! Mama cat had five babies and they were adorable of course. My sister could not keep them all and gave them to a pet shop hoping they would be adopted into good homes.
Are you planning to keep the babies? One of my cats is all black and he is beautiful, I imagine your kitty and her babies to be lovely.

For as much as I would like to, no, we are not keeping the kittens!! I will work hard to find them new homes like I did with her last litter. I am going to see if I can get people to donate $10 per kitten towards having the mom spayed. She has had 3 litters of kittens within about 16 months. The mom cat & her now just over a year old son were left behind when our neighbor moved. Then the cats decided that they live with us! I don't mind taking care of them & they are really good cats, but I have to put a stop to all these kittens.

AWWW CUTE!!!! How close is your house to the Greyhound terminal, incase I win the lottery one of these days, and find a way to make it down there? :) I love love love kittens, and when I told Walker about your 8 little blessings, he asked me to ask you if we can move in with you and Hubby, to play with the kittens. We love kittens!!! Can you please take some pictures of them and post them up here? Do you have a video camera? I have a great video camera, I just wish I was in MI right now!

We are an hour away from the bus station in Detroit!! Sure, you can come stay with us to play with the kittens!! You might want to wait about a month. They are much more fun then when they are up & running around. I can't imagine having 8 little ones running around here. It was bad enough with just 5 last time. Those ones were just too cute when they were all racing up the curtains! I will try to post a picture here. They are hard to see because they are in the coat & all of them are black. I do have a video option on my camera. When they get bigger, I'll take some videos.
