Well friends, I feel England played the 4th test match in Ashes 2009 hopelessly. I feel England was napping or Australia batting was too good or Struass decision to bat first was wrong one. The way England batted it does not matter whether they bat first or second. It is shame for English top order that in the second innings bowlers have to score runs and reduce the innings defeat from very large margin to small one.. What do you say friends??

More than napping i think they were caught with their pants down Australia had almost won the game on the first day when their bowlers destroyed the English batting line up and it was just the momentum they carried and won that match comprehensively.

England might have had a wild party after the 3rd test and would have drunk and later when match started could not have come out of that hangover.. Whatever hopless match and England will lose the series..

Yes Australia was considered as underdogs for this Ahses series because of Australia's recent performance.. But this time they had fought back very well and I too wish them winning the Ashes. Australia is better team than Engish side. England is not as All round team as that of Australia. And I am sure that Australia will win the fifth and final test in style.. :)

i think this is the very first time i am praying that Australia must win a series because they were not all considered to win the ashes but now i think they can beat the England team in the fifth and last test.

To be frank the present England team is very weak in my view.. There batting is very weak and I do not think they deserve to win the Ashes 2009. Australia is better all round side and they had mixture of youngesters and experienced players, so, Aussies should have by know leading the series 2-1 but it was bad luck and fortunte to England which made the series 1-1 but in the final test whatever changes England make, they will lose and Aussies will take away the Ashes 2009 trophy. If weather do not interrupt then Australia will be winners, even if England manage a draw then also Australia will take away Ashes Cup..

Well I have to agree with you that England team is not that strong team and won the Ashes by luck. See the ODI series and Australia already have won 5 ODI's out of the 7 ODI's. This itself show that England is weak team..

It will be a extreme statement to say that England played without any hope. The thing is that if any team gets out on just score of 100 then their psychological pressure on that. That is what happened with England after the first they knew that saving the game would be a tough task. But Australia's win in this series would make the final pretty much exciting.

England has nothing to lose infact in the second innings, all they have to do is bat well and score atleast 400 runs minimum but Bopera is loving that golden duck. Bell is not a best choice for test cricket and Collingwood too failed. It is shame for English batsmen that tailenders like Chris Broad and Greme Swann were the top scores with some decent 60's. If they can score then why can't batsmen like Bopera or Bell or Collingwood score. England batting was given good start by openers but the middle order is never a settled one for England team in the whole Ashes series in my view. Whereas for Australia young player like North scored a century, this is the differences and I feel England were napping and played this match only to loose..

Every day is not a sunday. Its an exception that they failed miserably in the first innings.Hope they will come back strong in the fifth test. You cant take anything away from the Australian bowlers though.

yeah you are right every day is not Sunday and failing on the first day is fine and I give credit to Australia's bowling but in the second innings again same performance, 85/5 from there the bowlers fighted out for England, when players like Broad and Swann can bat then what's wrong with Bopera and Bell or even collingwood. Atleast fighted out for some time, surrendered tamely in the second innings as well. I do not think England will recover from this defeat and Australia had found some young talented players like North, Siddle,etc.. Australia will win 2-1 this Ashes series. In the fifth test if climate is fine..
