Freedoms, are they a thing of the past, and can they be saved?

FREEDOMS, ON THE TRASH HEAP OF HISTORY In 1776, our Founding Fathers signed a document, which made sure that a noble experiment in Government would take root, and grow into the blessings of God on all mankind. They envisioned a Government which had only the power given to it by the People, as they saw the Creator allowing it! All our freedoms are from the Creator, and the Government is only there to help the People in realizing the full potential of these freedoms. At the time, we had left a system of nobles and lords, who held sway over the lower classes, and answered only to themselves and the King. This was an oppressive system, which allowed the upper class, or nobles and the King, to hold tyranny over the People, and which eventually led to the collapse of all good will in the empire. The colonies were taxed, and invaded, and stepped on until there was nothing left to give the country and its Government! We resisted, and then we fought, against the tyranny encroaching upon us, and after a long struggle which many wanted and many did not, we won our freedom from the dominance of oppressive rulers, and we embarked upon a voyage of unparalleled magnitude, but a voyage of unprecedented promise! And yet, here we are, more than two centuries later, having fought for more and more freedoms, and enjoying the bounty of our God, and we have those in our current Government trying to seize these freedoms, abolish these liberties, to put chains anew on our ankles, and to suppress the blessings of liberty to which we are entitled by our God! We were initially guaranteed the freedoms of life, and liberty, and the pursuit of happiness; although happiness itself was guaranteed only as the pursuit of and not its awarding. In the years to follow, we enacted the Bill of Rights, which explained further the blessings of liberty, and the principles we, as a nation, should follow; this was added to in the years after to include the equality vote, and the ending of segregation, et al, but nowhere did we rewind, or go back in the freedoms we understood to be ours! We always envisioned grander, more noble expressions of our freedoms, and we pressed forward to the ultimate understanding of the liberties our Creator gave us, and for which no Government has the right to rescind! In the old system, which endangered the common man, there were those who saw themselves as elite, or above the fray, to whom no law was to bind them, and who disdained the idea that they had to be equal to the lower, or common man. This is fallacious, as all men are human, with no one man or person, being better or superior, to another! If we, in our system, believe in equality, then all men are created equal, and no one individual is above the rest, and is certainly not above the laws which guide us! Therefore, we should not tolerate those who believe and act as though they have achieved some godhood, and think they are above the sea of humanity, while practicing as malignant gods! In our Congress, and in our White House, there pervades a spirit of communism, and fascism. The powers that be believe they know what is better for the common Citizen, and therefore, they must act in our interest (actually theirs) while subjugating our freedoms and going against our wishes for Government! Their belief is that the money of the People, by the People, and for the People should be equally divided, within their party, and not to the People, whether that use is illegal, immoral, or unjust! There is a movie that came out a few years ago, called V for Vendetta, which showed the leaders of a Nation no longer in touch with their Citizens, and which oppressed liberties among its Citizens to the point that one man stood against them, rallying the Citizens to one moment, and one cause - the cause of freedom! He gave his life so that others might have the chance to live in liberty, and know the bounties of freedom. Well, today, we have the ability, and the freedoms, still, to voice our concerns, to mount protests against grievances, and to call into question, those items which have us concerned. We are guaranteed this through the Constitution, and yet, these leaders would have you believe that other laws, from places like Europe, or documents not in our Nation, would have precedence over this Constitution. How can this be accepted, as the Constitution itself declares there is no higher power, except God - the Creator? And are we to allow the Congress, and the President, to show disdain for our founding documents and our Founding Fathers, by saying that the Constitution is flexible, out of date, superfluous, or moot? It is not extreme, nor over the top, nor is out of tough. No, we are to tell them, and fight them if need be, to let them know that such thinking is wrong in this Nation! We are a Nation, where every street Person, every banker, every member of Congress, has equal say in matters of this Nation and our vote! We are to embolden every Citizen to stand firm in his liberty and voice, and we are to establish only those principles for each Citizen which command honor and are uplifting, and never are we to denigrate anyone, regardless of standing in his community, and say that his or her voice is not important! This also goes to the newest Citizens of this country, who may be only children, and children being born, and children who are growing in the womb, but Citizens all of this United States. We don't wish them inferior status in this world, and therefore, we should not wish them ill! How can we, as a People and a Nation, hold these Citizens in low regard, and say that we have the power, and we have the option, and we have the right to kill, to exterminate, to abort these People - these Citizens of the United States? And then to enlarge this mistake, this murder, this degradation, by saying we should pay for it for everyone, and we should export it as a right to others. Do we have the right to overstep other nations in regards to their population, especially when it means extermination of the populace? Are we a Nation of murderers, and murderers for hire? No, we are not, or should not be, but this is not stopping the lawmakers, and they are not stopping there, but also, to add to the wrong of abortion, have added a health plan which will deny Citizens coverage, which will curtail services, and which will add to the health care system the ability to exterminate babies and the elderly and infirm. Wow! Does this sound even remotely similar to health care? Check out their 1100 page document on the health care reform plan. Yes, they'll deny it, but read sections for yourself, and bear in mind that a lot of our leaders (most, in fact) are liars of a caliber unprecedented in history, and to cover their behinds will say anything, even if shown the proof and given the facts! The president and the members of Congress, have openly gone to war on our freedoms, calling into question all discussions, websites, emails, letters, and blogs about anything to disagree with the current health care debacle! Are we to tolerate this travesty, and are we to roll over, like an Eastern Bloc country, and turn in our mom, or brother, or girlfriend, just because they voiced opposition to a ludicrous bill which will bankrupt this country and destroy our health care coverage? Since when is communist doctrine part of the Constitution, and where are we to be denied our rights, and why must we be subjected to this blasphemous use of power by the power-mongers in our leadership? I think we should enact another amendment to the Constitution, which would state that any member of our leadership, from the president to the the Congress and the Supreme Court, who openly violates the Constitution, should be ejected from the position held, and can never hold any office in this Nation again! What say you? How come when I go to renew my driver's license, I have to prove who I am (and for my first license, I had to produce a certified birth certificate), and why, when I go to the hospital, do I need to prove who I am, and even when I write a check, I must prove who I am; and yet, the president doesn't have proof that he is Barry, or Slick Willie, or anyone else, and without this proof, he is allowed to turn our world upside-down? Are we living in a TV parody of the real world; are we on reality TV; or are we just so many mindless drones that we won't follow our own laws, and make this charlatan show proof - any proof that he's even capable of being a garbage man, much less the president? Why do we have certain caveats in our minimum requirements for office, if when getting into office, the candidate doesn't need to follow the minimum mandatory requirements? Perhaps we should drive without licenses since no proof is required (being facetious), or maybe we could all practice surgery (no so great for the patient), or maybe we could be president (whether we were qualified, or deranged, or sympathetic to another country), and who's to blame us, as we have our glorious leader to set the example because he feels the law doesn't apply and he never needs to show proof that he's able to accept the position? Seems to me that this country is heading towards the nobility and the King all over again, with us, the common people becoming the serfs and peasants under his lordship's gaze. And his Sheriff of Nottingham on the hill passing laws against us, the peasantry, allowing them only to hunt for game in Sherwood Forest, but the serfs should be hung for doing the same, even though we were starving! The elite shall trample on the common, and the laws of the land will be moot! Abraham, Martin, and John, would all stand in defiance of this new order of suppression of rights, and openly proclaim that Barry is not an American, whether by birth or not, because he doesn't follow the mandates of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights; and they would further stipulate that all of Congress should be whipped for putt
