Favorite Hotel Chain

I'm curious as to what others favorite hotel chains are? My husband and I are traveling at the beginning of this week and we had to find a room that was within our budget. I am quite anal when it comes to hotels. I want a place that is clean and that I can feel comfortable in. If money isn't a question I like to stay in Marriott hotels. They're typically at least $100 a night but they're really nice and ALWAYS clean!! Tonight we're staying in a Sleep Inn, which is a choice hotel. I am actually really impressed at how nice this place is. Especially for the price. I would definitely stay here again. So do you have a favorite chain you usually try to stay at? Or are you brave and stay at different places each time you go out of town?

I would be with you and say that my favorite chain is the choice hotels, mainly the comfort inn. I love the price and and quality of the hotels, but I am a little bias because my brother is the assistant manager at one so he helps me get good rates LOL.

Marriott does do an amazing job..marriott and the hilton are my preferred choices but of course this is only in the past when i traveled with my family and didn't have to pay a dime in terms of hotel rooms.. but now i also like staying at nice hotels.. i don't mind paying a little extra I feel as if it's worth it.. the intercontinental does a great job.. i really like their rooms, service, amenities.. but i would say marriott does a superior job.

I agree. I'm willing to pay a little extra if it means I can sleep comfortably while I'm there. You pay an arm and a leg to spend a night in a hotel anyways - why not pay a few extra dollars?
