Hi, Online shopping.. how many of you prefer this?
Do you have the habit of buying things online, like cassettes, cds, dvds, electronic goods..??
Last week I pay $160 on online for a cellphone. The day before yesterday, I got the cellphone, through courier... I was very much happy about it...
Do you have the experience of shopping online??

Id really rather go through the hassle of sifting through racks of clothes and stuff in a department store rather than take a chance with an online purchase. Its not that I dont give credit to those great online sellers but Im picky when it comes to clothes. They have to have the right fit on me. Otherwise I wouldnt buy them at all even if I lovingly adore the print and color.
When it comes to other things, I think I wont mind buying cd's/dvd's and books online. My only problem would be the outrageous shipping cost. Its just too much for me that Id be better off buying them at local stores rather than online.
Good to hear that your online transaction went smoothly. Enjoy your new gadget.^_^

Heya kelly,
yeah, I have seen some great deals but those are only limited geographically. I mean most are in UK, Canada, and US. International shipping would not be available. In some cases that they do ship internationally, it might not seem a lot but when converted to local currency, buying the item locally would be much more cheaper than buying it online.
I might not mind the shipping cost if it was an item that I truly badly need/want, and its not available locally.^_^

I've never bought clothes online as I would be worried that they don't fit. The only time I may buy clothes is if it is a shop that I always buy from. Therefore I would know the cut of the clothes and what would fit me.
Not all shipping costs are outrageous. Amazon, in the UK, have free shipping if you buy a product where they are the seller and it is over £5. HMV, again in the UK, have free shipping no matter how much you spend. I always check out shipping prices and you can be shocked at how cheap they actually are.

Hello. I have been reluctant to buy things online. I prefer to buy at the shops where I can see the product right in front of my eyes, and also choose the price I want to pay for it. I may be a bit out-dated ! Right ? Any way, that's what I have been doing so far.

May be you don't have that much exposure towards online shopping.

I really do prefer to shop online. I am not much of a shopper so I just hate the shopping thing in general. And at holiday times, it just disgusts me. So being able to shop online is less stressful and I actually get the shopping I need to get done, actually done in the time I need to do it! I am still careful about what I buy online. There are still things I need to see and test, etc in person before buying (computers, etc) so I go to regular stores too.

I would definately prefer online shopping. You can get much better deals than in an actual store and you can do it conveniently, right from where you are sitting. I love to browse through amazon and ebay just for the fun of it because I always like seeing what I want to save up for. I think that money in an online reserve like paypal is much more valuable than money in your hand because of the convenience. I know I can't get scammed online b using legitimate websites like amazon and ebay. Thanks for the interesting post, keep them coming.

I only shop online these days, I was in a shop the other day and all I kept thinking was how much cheaper the stuff was on eBay lol.
I wouldn't trust the online food shopping though heard some bad things about them.

I do a lot of shopping online now. This is because many of the survey sites I'mn with offer Amazon vouchers as rewards. So I buy all my fave books, DVD's, music and anything else that takes my fancy for absolutley nothing.
It is so easy to shop online and you can do it at any time that suits you rather then when the shops dictate.
I'm very cautious and if it's a site that I've never heard of I check it out fully so that they have contact details and T&Cs. I also type in the company in the search engine along with either scam or legit to see what other people say about them.
All in all I think that internet shopping is great, it's easy and in many cases cheaper.
