My longest friend is 25 years. We were both 4-years-old. We were in the same Sunday School class at church. Her mother was the teacher. We became friends then and later (in 1st grade) we went to the same school. We later found out that we lived one block away from each other. My mother became the after school babysitter for her, her sister and brother when Erica decided she didn't like their old babysitter anymore. She actually called my mom herself when we were 7-years-old and asked if my mom would be her new babysitter. We also shared in Girl Scouts, Youth Group, Swim Team. . .
We went all through school together. Now that we are adults both with families of our own, we are still great friends. We live over 1000 miles apart, but that doesn't seperate the fact that she is my son's Godmother and she is always going to be my longest and closest friend.

so nice is Sunday church class. It makes me to think about my longest known friend Mendy. We met in a similar situation when I was 7 and he was 6. We shared toys after class. Half a year later, his family moved to next block of ours and we became neighbours. So we could go to primary school on the same bus and talked about last nights' cartoons and our favorite soccer players.
Now that we are adults today, we no longer talked about cartoons. He is still a soccerfan but I am not. But all these cannot prevent we take each other as best friends because we still go to the same church. We communicate from time to time via mobilephones and both wish to keep such a relationship for lifelong.

My longest friend is 20 years, I met her when we are on our grade school. We are 12 years old then. We were classmates then. It started a beautiful friendship up to this time. We don't see each other everyday now but if we get together it's like yesterday. The bond was always there, we have different status in life now but the friendship is still there. We can spend the night away by just talking anything.

I met the girl in Kindergarten. I don't recall it really, because we've always just been friends. Her father and my father are friends, so it's possible we knew each other even before that - we live in a small time. That was almost fourteen years ago. However, while we're still friends, we aren't nearly as close as we used to be.
Of my very close friends, I met the one I've known the longest in eighth grade. He was my current 'boyfriend's' (it never really counts in eighth grade, does it, haha)friend, and he was very nice, incredibly well-mannered. The next year he asked me out, we dated an entire year, and then broke up, and for the next two years switched between romantic feelings and best friend feelings. I call him my guardian angel. Now we're just friends and always will be, we've decided. Because we work so well together that way but just don't have the romantic feelings that are needed to make a true, strong relationship. We'll never forget each other and can tell each other everything.
It's really great to know who your true friends are and who you can count on through the good times and the bad - ten years from now. I'm glad you are still friends with this girl!
