What can you say about the proposal for the late Pres. Cory Aquino, to be a saint? Of course I'll be happy and proud just in case. After all she's a Filipino. I do admire her advocacies bringing the people closer to God, strengthen their faith and touching everyone with her kind heart. I would go for her to become a national heroe but to become a saint, I'd leave it up to God almighty, above. I'm not against it though but there is one thing I remember, she didn't forgive the Marcoses, though she may had the reasons not to but if she did, it would be convincing for her to become a saint.

I am proud to lived in the Philippines and proud to say that we had a president like cory aquino. Although she became a role model for every Filipino, it doesn't mean she's entitled to become a saint. There are a lot of things to considered before one person become a saint. And nowadays, there are a lot of issues regarding sainthood, the existence of saint. I do believe in God, I'm not an atheist, I am a catholic but I'm not agree of making Cory Aquino a saint. There's a possibility that this issue will become a laughing stock of some countries and our politician might also make this as a meal ticket for their stardom or their ambition. A hero perhaps.

i think we had showed already how much we loved cory. we don't have to prove thing or do any thing more to show that she will always be remembered and that we recognized what she did for our nation and to the people to bring democracy. but making her a saint is another thing. we can't decide if she deserves or not. this is out of her hands. but we can make her another hero. but a saint is just not right cause we who love her came from different religions. we are not all catholics and we have different views about her. i think we will remain more united if we make her a hero instead .
