Alertpay ask for various important documents to be submitted for verification. I dont want to send them that kind of information. I see lots of people use it. Have you all Alertpay users sent them your sensitive personal information. Is it safe?

I have received some payments in to my Alert Pay account. There is no bank wire option for those living in India so I have to request a check instead. Now does anyone know which bank in India accepts a dollar check and does it get cleared soon?

Alertpay will never be as popular as paypal. I am a client of both programs and I have to say that paypal is a much smoother and safer online "bank" to use. Alertpay is trustworthy but inconvenient. Almost every site that sends or recieves funds will use paypal, not alertpay. I never really liked Alertpay, the overall feel of it is uncomfortable. Nobody wants to send all those verifying documents anyway. Thanks for the interesting post.

You are right. They should not demand for such critical documents. They can ask for authorized ID cards for verification purpose only.
