Cats and dogs can be friends, I have five dogs and one cat at home and my cat is friendly with all the dogs and it is similar for the dogs too, they share the food sometimes while we give them, they sleep side by side and once we found our cat drinking the milk of the dog which was feeding her babies and our cat just take a part in it, it was wonderful to see them together. They should be brought up together else if the dogs are already young and the cat is new born then there is a risk they do not like the cat at all so better to brought them up together.

Yeah its possible. You start letting them grow up together that in turn they become so familiar with each other. I have a dog and a cat at my house.
When they were still pup and kitten i make sure they roam the same house and eat at the same piece of plate. And when I talk the other one for a walk I make sure they both take a walk.
Dont believe in such nonsese that part of their legend or evolution, they suppose to hate each other. A lion will mate with an elephant if you train him to. hahahaha

I love animals but my mom doesn't allow me to have a pet at home. She said sometimes animal is very dirty.Anyway, I believe that cat and dog can become friends with us.We all creatures created by God. We should be very good friends.
Happy mylotting.

I believe that most dogs and cats can be taught tolerance, if they are both supervised to do so at an early age. Although some dogs just don't have a high prey drive that would lead to them acting aggressively towards a cat in the first place.
We have two dogs and one cat living in the same house, The cat came first, then Dog 1 as a puppy, and many years later Dog 3 came to live with us as an adult. They all live together in relative harmony, although the cat will pester the dogs occasionally, and despite their size advantage, they're both scared of him!
