Did you live a week without computer? Or just imagine it?

I went to a vacation and bringing laptops would have been heavy and probably got stolen, so we didn't bring it. of course we were out for most of the day, but it was weeks before i opened my mail and my facebook. felt like i was disconnected from the world and lived in the 'i am legend' movie for 2 weeks. hahaah. i know, dramatic. but there you have it.

Since i learn using the computer, i use to live in it,before when i study computer science, i am very excited to learn and focus my self on learning, since then i use to do some works on it, like typing in MS word, encoding in excel, and do some power point, and i use it when i work in Jollibee as a cashier, and do some chatting finding many social sites and especially doing mylot, i don't want to live without computer, because, you can also watch television and movies and listen music here.

What a question is this, did I born with computer? did I grow with computer? did my computer talks with me? did my computer is a friend to me? does it have any sense? its just a product.. not a human being nor a eatables not an essential one... So, I can live without computer whole of my life.

Yep, I did but not for a week but for several weeks last July. No computer, no internet. Why? because the computer finally bid our finally farewell after long years of service to us. It's reapairable but we opted to buy a new one and had the long wait for the right funds to get a new computer. But really I can live without a computer because my work does not depend on it. As of the moment, the computer/internet is my only hobby while out of work. Cheers!

I was able to live with it for like 3 years due to the fact that I do not have money to buy a pc/laptop before and the computer here in the house was not mine. Thus, when I got to get my dads laptop I was so happy. I missed going online all the time and spending hours just browsing thru the net. I cannot live without checking my mail or facebook in a day.

I can't believe what will happen if I live a week without my laptop. I use laptop to work everyday. I remember one day when the power went off and my laptop battery also run out, I got nothing to do.I was worried about I missed my emails. But this changed since I bought a good cellphone with which I can also check my mailbox. But I still can't live without computer. Happy mylotting!

oh, it happened to me loads of times. other times when we have to go home to the province, and sometimes when a part of the pc got busted and i don't have enough money for replacement yet. i really feel helpless without using a computer for a week.

That is so not possible. I mean i do can live without computer even for a month, but basically i make income mostly thorugh online. So, for justa week (if i want to do it) i would probably would had lost RM1,500.00 average sales for that week. If you asked me the same question 2 years ago, i would gladly said i can live without computer for even a month.

a week without computer...? i can't imagine.. it can only happen if my mind gets rusted. computers for m is like life blood and without internet life seems stagnent.

I love to live without my computer but I am simply can't just do it. I hate my PC because it takes me away from people. While I am in front of this "Idiot box" I ignore everything. I never have time for my family and relatives but yet I get in front of this thing. I just don't know why! I had not touch my PC for two months last year when my Dad was not well. It was actually like a family reunion! I try my best to avoid computers but yet I fall in front of it!

I am lost without my computer. We recently moved up north and I use it to keep in contact with friends and family. I was without internet service for over a week during the move. my service in my old city kept telling me they didn't provide service up north..lol. I finally saw one of there trucks at the corner and flagged them down. Got my service within the week!

Of course I could live without my computer for a week, and I have lived without it for a week, but the real question is, why would I? Lol! I used to go camping a lot a few years ago, and needless to say, there are no computers or Internet connections out in the wilderness. It's not so hard if the temptation of going online isn't there, but if there's a working computer in front of me, more often than not I'll use it. With so many people making a living in front of their computers anymore, you'd be hard-pressed to find anyone who goes a week or more without using one, even casually.

Oh, that means miserable! However, you give me a computer whithout internet access, it is also anguish. If there are not friends in your side. oh... my god, I will die because of tristimania. One day my home is power off , I had to walk outside with bad mood.

I cannot imagine living one week not even a day without my computer. It is my connection to friends both real life and online. I can play games and if I am bored watch TV and Movies on it. It is like an all-in-one entertainment system to me. Many people may be able to live without a computer, but I most likely cannot.

I will gather together with my friends or playing music and singing.

It would be very hard, as all I do the whole day is sit in front of my computer, playing games and of course browsing myLot for something to reply to. If I had to I would probable play with my dog ar do something constructive like clean my room or something.
