Has anyone caught this new Joan Rivers series?? This show focus on "get rich quick" schemes that basically actually worked for these people...lol...I seen it for the first time tonight and I have to say I was quite amazed at how the guy who created the "billy bob teeth" (those ugly teeth people wear out of fun)- he lives on 500 acres.....yup you heard me correctly ... 500 acres of land-- that is more than 240 football fields. Can you believe some as silly as funny teeth sold through mail order can make you this rich....it amazes me!!!

I haven't seen it! I never even heard of it. When is it on? What channel? I'm definitely going to have to watch it. I love hearing stories about how some obscure invention turns Joe Bob into a Billionare! Like the guy who invented that thing on the end of your shoelaces. I'm so excited about a new show to watch, yea.

Hey waters ;) In my area it is on TVLAND which I believe is a Nickolodeon channel..its actually about to come on as I post this. It's Wednesday August 12 and it's 10:00 Eastern Standard Time (USA) :)

It is funny what some ppl make their fortunes on. I think though that it also depends on how they manage the money as well. Some ppl start making big money and suddenly go nuts wasting it.

so true- they do say that a large percentage of large lottery winners go through their money very quickly because they don't have financial knowledge on investing and other business sense. I feel that the lottery or any obscene amount of fast money should automatically come with a sensible financial advisor- so that way - those who aren't used to that type of money- will have been afforded the same opportunity as those that are knowledgable and do know how to live well but KEEP their fortunes.

I haven't seen it yet but plan to catch it soonest. I just love Joan, she is a totally amazing woman who has survived some of the worst that life has to offer. I cannot wait to see her spin on how some people have become so rich; her own personal story should be showcased.
