Good day my fellow MyLottters
According to Wikipedia, computer literacy is having an understanding and knowledge of what a computer and have the ability to use it. While computer competency applying one persons skills and ability to a computer to make it more useful.
Well based on their definition I think I am one of those computer competent, cause as a programmer I am applying my knowledge on programming to develop computer system and software's that helped other people on their work on the computer much faster and reliable . And I think if you are a computer competent you are a computer literate too, em I correct?
How about you guys, are you a computer literate or a computer competent?
God bless.
Happy MyLotting .

I'm a student major in foreign language learning. I sometimes translate materials on computer, so I know a lot on computer. Thus I may be a computer literate, I doubt.
I love computer and want to learn computer programming but I don't know where to begin. Maybe you can give me some suggestions.
Happy mylotting!

Good day kidboy1988,
I think you should start by learning one particular programming language, and I suggest you to use the Microsoft Visual Basic 6 first. It is very simple to use and understand, and you can see a lot of sample codes around the internet.

I do not follow the course or school computer. I am self-taught and continue to learn about computers. I do not make a computer program, but I learn the system and programs that have been there.
I am happy to share with other people.
