Does the weather affect your mood?

I firmly believe that the change in the seasons brings a change in my mood. Maybe I suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder a little. I become more moody and down during the winter season. The sun always makes me happy and i have a much more positive outlook. Are you affected by the change in seasons?

I live in an area where the weather is very unpredictable and changes frequently. I love it. I love the sun, the snow, the rain , the thunder & lightning ....all of it. The only thing I really don't like at all is the bitter cold...where it hurts to step out. Still, it's only a few days per year. I love the change of the seasons...all of it. Probably why I stay here.

You do get all different types of weather by the sounds of it! I have only really been in the bitter cold a few times. Here in UK rarely drops that low. I have experienced the cold when you can feel it in your bones, thats not so nice hey! Where is it that you live?

Yeah, I think it slightly has an effect on my mood, I usually gain a few pounds during the winter (but maybe because of the holidays), and I don't get to go outside and have as much fun with people in the good weather. Though lately I have been looking forward to the winter, my boyfriend is flying in on December 12th- January 19th from Sweden, so I am excited for that. We are also going to the Bahamas together so I look forward to those things. Last winter I went to Sweden to see him, so I had a lot to look forward for that winter as well. Summer is nice though, I love gardening and stuff like that which you can't do in the winter. It's nice to have changes though to really appreciate a season.

Yeah I too always seem to put on weight in the winter which isnt so great! Here in
UK the weather is pretty bad for most of the year so it is hard to get out and be active. It really is only ok for a couple of months. Sounds like you will be having a wonderful winter this year! Enjoy. Thanks for the comment.
