Good day avidavi1, It is not necessary for you to verify your paypal account, the only limitation of an unverified paypal account is you have a limit of $100 withdrawal. And I think what you are referring about your question is the thing that sometimes TrekPay ask some member to pay them $ 1 for verification purposes, it is only for them to make sure that you have given them a legitimate and existing paypal account.
