What is your favorite quote or saying that has made an impact on your life?

My favorite quote is "All you touch, and all you see, is all your life will ever be". It's from a Pink Floyd song called Breathe.

There are many quotes and sayings that i like.But my favorite one is "You always miss 100 percent of the shots you don't take" and guess what it was said by a soccer player.Theres another one which says 'To stay the course....sometimes you have to make waves'.These are the two which came to my mind now.I'll post again if i remember the others.

Mine is "Never say Never". I'm 61 yrs. and I used to say I'd never do this or that and eventually ended up doing it! LOL! So I've been trying to refrain from saying that for the last 30 years! tdemex

This is a tough one. I like oh so many. One similar to the one u have mentioned is "When the going gets tough, the tough get going". And this one I always kept at my desk. I dont know if it influenced me or whether I would have made it a grade without it or not, but it is still on my desk. :-) The other whacky one that I liked was "Those who give in inches, and want in yards, should be kicked by foot". As an aging lady, I still find no equal to what William Shakespeare wrote for Cleopatra "Age cannot wither her, nor customs stale her infinite variety". I hope more guys were that romantic.
