Do you do anything illegal?

I mean, I'm not asking anyone to admit to murder or anything! Not trying to get anyone in trouble at all. Just wondering because today I was supposed to take my brother and his friends out but we didn't have enough room in the car. I don't even like speeding, let alone carrying too many people in a vehicle, ESPECIALLY because the seatbelt in the back left seat doesn't work. Hahaha. But my brother was trying to convince me, "Oh, it's not that far," and "So what?" so I was just interested. Thought it'd make a good discussion topic. :]

Personally I have never done some thing illegal in my life. So I can not think any thing involved to law. But when I read your example or the reason you just mentioned it reminded me one thing that happened before. I was in a group trip with my online friends. When we finished our trip we found we had no enough cars for all people, because one car left earlier than expected. In this case we had to put 7 people in one car which was just allowed 5 people. Not only uncomfortable also very dangerous. I think it’s the one illegal thing I made in my life.

Yeah, it sucks when someone practically forces you into a situation like that.

I did 10 years in prison so I guess you could say that I have done illegal things. But I have been out of prison since 2003 and have done NOTHING WRONG! In my youth I broke the law all of the time but when I grew up and became a man I had to put away the childish things, including breaking the law. I try to let everyone know that "Crime never pays" since if you get caught then you have to pay and pay heavily. So many people try to skirt the law and then cry like a baby when they get caught. I think that if you "do the crime" you "do the time" Have a great day!!

Of course I do. There are several aspects of law that I am unaware of. So I may be doing some unwittingly as well! Most of them I dismiss as harmless because it does not lead to somebody losing life. And it is unlikely that I am doing or have done anything that could have given me time behind the bars in my country. So I consider myself forgivable as long as nobody really knows the extent to which I can transgress. I mean, if I were imprisoned and there were some cases many neighbors would know. Paying fine for not using seat belt or talking on mobile while driving is something that is openly discussed and almost everybody does so nobody really considers it as gross violation or illegal anymore.

Yes,i have had too many people in the car and i was very nervous.I looked over my shoulder every two seconds too make sure that the police were not close in site.My sister also sometimes doesn't put her baby in the car seat and he's 18months now.But i usually try to put a seat belt on and drive at the limit because i can not afford any tickets on my record.

My mom used to do that too. She would always tell one of use to duck when a cop was nearby. Haha.

Hello, oh, you are talking about driving? lolz... in my state (california) we have to wear seat belt at all time, no phone or text while driving. Sometimes, I just drive to a store that is about a block away from my house... I don't wear seat belt ... lolx. or talking on a phone if I dont see police around lolz....

I did, not on purpose though. Don't think the police isn't watching esp at night, and that is how I got pulled over and went to court to dispute it. The law sometimes want me break some more on purpose.

Laws aren't there just to be a pain, they are usually there to protect you, especially when it comes to cars. Yes, I can remember going places where I was sitting on someone's lap, or driving around a lot of people in my car. But that was before there were any laws regarding passengers for minors, before seatbelt rules were inforced. The thing is, I always think such things are dependent on the driver. When I was a passenger sitting on a lap, it was always a responsible adult behind the wheel, and we never went very far that way at all. When I drove, as a minor and even now, with a lot of people in my car, I watched my own boundaries and never hestitated to turn around tell everyone to calm down and shut up. The lesson? If you felt uncomfortable doing it, and it's illegal, you made the right call in not doing it. Well you made the right call regardless, cause a car full of boys, with too few seats and a broken seat belt... well that was never going to end well. *whispers* I may also have made an illegal U-Turn once or twice, or taken a left turn out of parking lot that says right turn only. Considering that's about as illegal as I get, I think I'm doing okay.

I'm happy to see that my mylot friends are like me and mostly law abiders. I too get really nervous when there's a police car behind me or even across the intersection even though I'm not doing anything I shouldn't be. But I believe that's how God made us, to know right from wrong. I watch a lot of csi investigation and cop shows. It amazes me how people can break the law and have no problem lying about it, even when the cops have proof of the illegal act! Unfortunately, that's all some people know and can't conceive of doing anything different.
