on a student's personality, talent, thinking or efficiency in any way?????????
I think that back benchers are in no way less than front benchers in their class. It's upto us to decide our fate.A student sitting on a back seat, if committed for his growth, can perform better..I think that back benchers are more confident in a class as teacher directly watches them and they are prepared to face every situation....

for me, the rule is... the further you are from the source of information, the more diluted the information gets. and also, the less interactivity you enjoy with the teacher. the back seat is the nearest place to the toilet.

I always found that when I sat in the back of the class I was less likely to pay attention because the teacher was less likely to notice me. I learned more at the front because I had to act like I was listening. Plus at the front I was closer to the teacher so I could here them better.

well, i agree with you. sitting in the front or the back is no scale to decide on the intellect of a student. however, studious people definitely prefer to sit in the front rather than the back unless they are very tall and object the view of students. more often than not, students who want to have fun go back.

when I am a pupil , the teacher let me sit in the front seat for I am short.
I don't like sit in the front , It's make me become a short sight man .

I like to sit in the front so I can see the board and because I might get distracted. For example, when sitting in the middle, if I see someone picking their nose, that will probably distract me....

I sit in the middle so the teacher can't really see me but I'm not so hidden that I would be tempted to sleep.
