Hi! Lately I have been hearing werid things at night and when I'm at the house by myself. Sometimes I hear little kids voices like there talking in another room. I also did laundry the other day and put my clothes on top of the bed to fold them and when I walked in the room all the clothes were on the floor. It's really creeping me out alot cause the other night I went to go to the bathroom and then go to get a drink of water and I felt someone brush against me I was like oh my gosh I turned around real quick thought it was my husband but nope he was sound asleep. I don't know what to do. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas or what I should do about this if you can help me it would be so great. Cause I'm so tired of running and stubbing my toes just to get back in bed lol.

See a therapist in your tag is probably a good idea! This is down to pure and simple human psychology. It's all in your mind my friend, without a doubt. Search the internet and do some reading up on parapsychology and parascience, it can all be explained in logical terms and provides a fascinating read.

I have to disagree, not everything can be explained away by science. There are hauntings and there are stories of proff to be found on the internet. I don't think she needs a therapist at all. Truthfully I think that the non believers are the ones that need to open their minds and seek the truth that can be found outside of science.

What I do is pretend nothing is wrong. Like when my TV keeps turning on all by itself at night, I'll just tell myself that the TV is broken so I won't get scared. Things like that happen in my house but my family don't think anything is wrong. I think as long as you are not getting physically hurt, whether spirits exist or not does not matter and we should just leave it alone.

Now, that's really creepy. But if you think you can handle it and ignore the strange happenings as part of your daily life, then maybe it will just go away. Or try calling a priest for a house blesing or an exorcist or a medium. But if all else fails and it still make your hair rise then find another house. Or every holloween make it into a money maker and let the people experience real ghost over there LOL.

I have the same problem. I have been living in the same place for about 6 years now, and there have been more than a few strange things that have happened. The important thing to remember is that as long as the entity is not threatening you or your family, you have nothing to worry about. I used to think that the noises that I was hearing were just old house noises, until they actually started to sound more like foot steps. At first I used to pay a lot of attention to the sounds and I used to freak out, now I just think of it as part of the house. Since I accepted the fact that there was something in the house, the activity has calmed down. I am a very open minded person and while there are a lot of people who will say that ghosts are just overactive imagionings, I am not one of them. If this is something that is really bothering you and you just can't get used to it, contacting a priest might be a good idea. I personally have two children so at the fist sign of violence of bad intentions, I would excorsise the house, until then, the way that I look at it is that this person obviously likes the house we live in and as long as "it" is friendly, I have no problem sharing my house. Have you ever tried talking to "it"? I was afraid at first and I know that it sounds silly, but I asked "it" if it meant me harm. I also told it that as long as it was good to me and my family I wouldn't mind it staying in the house, I also warned it that if anything were to start happening, I would be calling a priest. Aside from the occational brush, cold spot and noises, I haven't had anything to worry about. I personally have always believed in things that science cannot explain away and I think that one of the reasons that we hear these things is because we are open to them. Go on the internet and read up on it a little, it will give you an idea of what to expect. I did and I have to say that reading about other peoples experiences really helped me to put things in perspective. I hope that you don't stub anymore toes and that you find the answers that you are looking for. Another thing that you might want to try, is doing a little research into your home's history, perhaps something happened on the property and your spirit is the after affect. It is said that a persons spirit is their emotions left behind, kind of a risidual effect. I am not an expert though and like I said, you might want to do a little research into it. I hope that you are well and will keep us updated on the situation.

I think that it may be due to stress or an illusion. A lot of people have seen and experienced such paranormal activities and there is also a program on TV which covers events where people have come into close contact with ghosts. A lot of this is due to one's perception of what could be there, but I feel that you first need to confide in your husband and see what happens when the two of you are together. You never did say that your husband had also seen or experienced these abnormal activities. Perhaps once he can convince that there is no such thing as ghosts, you might have a different perspective on these paranormal activities and brush them off as a coincidence.

Absolutely. It has basically been proven and well documented that this sort of thing is down to the way human perception works. Seems unbelievable to some, but to understand it you really have to open your mind and understand how the human mind works. Mentalists can actually influence you to experience delusions just like this, but they're not really happening, you just perceive them as happening. Delusion is completely natural in humans and there are famous incidents of mass delusion in history where entire nations have experienced a mass delusion all together at the same time. The God Delusion by Richard Dawkings is a recommended book to learn about this.

maybe you need to discuss this with your hubby. to get a ghost buster service to do some cleanup for your house. alternatively, sell the house or rent it out.
Or can it be due to you are under stress ? maybe try to relax your mind, go for a vacation. hope this can help.

You know, I don't believe in a lot of mystical things. But the idea of ghosts honestly scares the crap out of me. Yeah, I'd say that if you are stressed otherwise in life, it could be your imagination. But I have a friend who had similar experiences - she felt three fingers drum on her head when she was alone in the bathroom. Her brother has seen a shape on the stairs. Her sister has seen it. They think it "lives" in her closet. Yeah, maybe they were all freaking eachother out and making it worse, but you know, none of them really seem that perturbed by it, so I doubt it. I'd say try googling someone who "specializes" with this stuff and see what they can do. Either that or sell it as a haunted house and make a fortune.

Yes,your place may actually be haunted. You should probably have a priest come in and sprinkle holy water like they did in amity Ville Horror. You may want to contact they people that sold you the house or the apartment manager if you stay in a apartment. But could luck to you and you should possibly think about staying with someone else when while your house is being evaluated for being haunted.Once again good luck.

Here's what you should do:
1. If you believe in God, then pray. He has the greatest power to sweep away your fear. Develop your faith in Him
2. Your house must be filled with joy, peace, happiness, and laughter.
3. Be still and do not fear.
4. Clean your house regularly.
5. Let the fresh air go into your house.
I used to have the same experience as yours. And now? Not anymore.
God Bless You
