Hello, I am curiuos if anyone out there works for kgb_? I have went through the registration process, and just need to become an independent contractor to get things going. I was curious if anyone could give me some pointers on all this. I have never done anything like this before. I wanted to see if it was worth the energy to become an independent contractor. Any earning projections? If its not worth my time I dont know if I want to do it. Do I still have to pay taxes if I make less than $600 a year? Any information is great. Thank You :)

I have seen commercials for KGB and the program appears to be exactly like ChaCha! I am a guide for ChaCha, and at first I was really doing good, getting lots of questions and making decent income. In the past 8 months, the income has decreased because they changed their pay scale. And I don't seem to be getting nearly as many questions as I did when I first started. But, all in all, I make more money per month with that program than I do any other program online. And to me, since I get to choose my interests, I am just looking up information that I would like to know anyway. So it is fun. Some companies do not send you a 1099 form unless you make $600 in a year, with a program like this, that will be really easy to accomplish. Others, like eHow, send you a 1099 no matter how much money that you make. I think if you receive a 1099 it's a good idea to claim it on your taxes, even if it isn't $600. Good luck to you!!!

Thank you very much for your response. I actually dont have a choice. They make me work as an independent contractor no matter what. I tried to appy for ChaCha but they are not hiring right now. so what do you think you make annually if you dont mind me asking?? It just costs money to become an independent contractor. so I want to make sure it is worth my while
