As a blogger, it is but normal to meet a fellow blogger who is influential in what you do to your blog. It may be the style, contents, or the technical aspect.
For me, Darren Rowse of Problogger and Daniel Scocco of Daily Blog Tips are the ones who influenced me a lot in improving my blogging skills. But then, it is Steve Pavlina who influenced me the most. It is his style, uniqueness, and passion to share his ideas that really make me admire him more.
Incidentally, my Father Blogger dot Com blog was chosen as one of the Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs for 2009 here in the Philippines. It is such a great honor to be among the shortlisted.
If you're interested, here is the link to the awards night that was held last Saturday - http://fatherblogger.com/2009/08/10/father-blogger-dot-com-one-of-top-10-emerging-influential-blogs-for-2009/
How about you? Who do you think is your most influential blogger?
Thanks!

Quite similarly I also have been influenced by Darren Rowse especially when it comes to how to manage a blog and turning an average site into something a lot better. But for actually writing style I have been influenced far more by Leo Barbuta from Zen Habits and also his story of how he turned a passion for writing into a full time career as a professional blogger.
I like some of Steve Pavlina’s posts but occasionally find some of the things he says goes against what I believe so only delve into his blog about once a month for a catch up.

For me it's hard to say. I would say its a toss up between Seth Godin, Steve Pavlina and Darren Rowse.

Hi. I am new to blogging. And actually, I just started creating mine less than a week now. I wish I can get some tips from your blog and from those people and sites you have mentioned. Congratulations to your successful and award winning blog

I respect what Cathy at http://fuglyhorseoftheday.blogspot.com/ does, even if I don't agree with every post she makes. She's really brought out some issues that have been plaguing the horse industry for years and made an effort to make people aware of what is happening in that community.
It's a subject that hits close to home, so I really appreciate that someone is addressing the long-going issues of animal abuse, irresponsible breeding, and ignorance that are prevalent in the industry.

My most influential bloggers would probably be the iPhone Dev Team. They always come up with new ideas and can always seem to get around a problem. They are dedicated to helping the community out.

Gratz on the top 10 ranking, a nice accomplishment for sure!
Soon as I saw your Topic, I must be honest and say ProBlogger and DAily Blog Tips came to my mind as well. Along with Copy Blogger and CarloCab.
That's 4 of the 5 A-list blogs I link to on my blog.
Copy Blogger is more about writing content then anything, and since writing to gather readers and for SEO is something I must work on being relatively new to the blogging scene this one has probably influenced me the most so far.
I can not deny that ProBlogger and Daily Blog tips have also helped me immensely though.
I'm also really enjoying V Divya Sai @ Blogerstop.net for some nifty widget/template related tricks.

Congratulations on being chosen as one of the Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs for 2009 in Philippines. Its already a mark that u have made for yourself. I am not exactly ben influenced by any blogger. Honestly, I have liked designs more than content. I am yet to see a blog capable of influencing me.
