Why does my post count keep dropping?

This is really starting to annoy me, in correlation with the 500 post count to post rule. A few days ago I had reached 500 posts, and was able to copy/paste some links. The next day a message came up saying I had not reached 500 posts. What is up with this? It feels like a rip off after all of the posting I have done. We all know this rule is ridiculous, but to take away posts is just obnoxious. Why does this happen?

its not usually your post at all but your response to some discussion that has broken mylot rules, if the discussion you responded to is deleted all responses to it are also deleted. we lose points because we responded to a bad post.

you have probably broken some mylot rules and terms. whenever this happens, they will delete the post from the records and any rewards they have given you for that particular post. thats why you may see you post count go down and perhaps your earnings

Sometimes mylot deletes some discussions that they think violates the rules and the posts get deleted from our posts counts. ~.~ It is annoying.

ulalume this happens to all of us.whenever a discussion is deleted that any of us have unfortunatley responded to our responses also are deleted so we lose points.our point counts thus go up aNd down.sometimes the admins add points when they feel like it to even things out when they have to delete quite a few because someone did not take time to read the simple rules.
