I may be addicted, but I am not alone!

The past few days I find myself constantly over on the NLOP site playing in poker tournaments. I'm having a lot of fun, even with all the swearing and pounding my fist on the table when I lose It seems like I'm addicted to the game. But, judging solely from my Facebook page, I am not alone. Seems like almost the entire home page on Facebook is filled with friends doing this or that in some game on there. Sometimes I look at them all and think they have a problem What about you? Is there a game online that you just can't seem to stay away from even though you know you should?

That would work if the cards I'm playing with weren't virtual cards on a gaming site

No there is is not really any games that I stay away from. Being retired I have the extra time to get my daily fix of online poker and every morning without fail I play at least an hour of Crosswords! That is my brain exercise to keep all my marbles in working order. That way if I stay sharp I will not get slaughtered at poker!

Sometimes no brain power is required to play poker. Yesterday I got my butt kicked in a game where I held a full house, two aces and three kings. The other player held four kings LOL Texas Hold 'Em can be a brutal game LOL

It did hurt! But, after the momentary shock wore off I was laughing about it

Whatever game it is, it is not the same game you are playing, it is bad enough that one of us is screaming at the computer things that should be censored everyday, don't you think it would be had if it was the two of us???

I agree, it would be terrible if both of us were doing that. You just stick to the Beanie Baby website

I love playing all the different games you find on the internet, and i try to limit myself as to how long that i play, but sometimes it is hard to pull yourself away, They are very addicting especially if you win every now and then.

This is why I haven't been in Mylot for a few days now. I started playing poker on facebook and I can't seem to stop. It was such fun!! I started to abandon other games which I have been actively playing such as Farm Town and Mafia Wars. But I am a kind of person who get bored easily and quickly, I hope this will happen soon and I will get back to Mylot more often.

I tried playing Texas Hold 'Em on Facebook but wasn't that comfortable with the game or the aggressive players. I like a more relaxed game I guess :)

It is quite stressful sometimes but when you win, it is such a satisfaction taking other people's chips.. . Some people are too aggressive I know, sometimes I just leave the table and go find another that is more friendly. Maybe I should just play big as I don't have much luck playing. That way, I can finish my chips sooner. Happy mylotting!!

I'm thankfully not playing with real money over on that poker site, it's mainly for fun. They have some tournaments that are for cash prizes but you don't have to put up any money. I saw on Facebook that they had changed things so that people couldn't sell their chips.

Hi fwidaman, good to see you! The only game I love doing on facebook is my Fairyland and garden, it is a brilliant game and one that keeps me amused so simple minds like simple things...lol! Apart from that there may be a couple of other games like the board games I might do at times but never feel I shouldn't do them...yet poker is addictive so am not surprised my friend..that's why I have never tried it out! lol ...LoLo

I see that both you and tamara are having fun with that game on Facebook Poker can be fun, although sometimes it is frustrating. Some people are just too slow, they can't seem to make up their minds if they want to play or not

I was very addicted to poker for 2 years. We went to the casino to play poker every weekends, stayed there over night, came home and went back again. And we play online poker as well, my husband is real into it, he plays allkinds of tournament and cash game. We are both pretty good at it, we have made lots of money by playing poker and it was great fun! I'm not addicted to any games on the internet though.

Yes, there are many people on the poker website. A lot of them are learning to play the game so it can be very time consuming. Playing face to face is good, although I haven't done so in a casino yet. I probably won't, as I hate to lose my own money
