August 6 issue of daily newspaper of Manila Bulletin have published a supplement photo with a caption “Military honor guard carefully moves the coffin of President Arroyo out of the Manila Cathedral” (instead of Former President Cory Aquino). The photo circulated in the internet and posted in Facebook. One of the comments said, “I think it was done purposely”. According to reports, when people saw the blunder, they started pulling out the supplement from the newspaper stands. (pinoy ambisyoso) Even a radio reporter-- Lala Rimando of ABS-CBN made the same slip on-air the coverage...they have sinced apologized to the public, and to Malacanang...but to see this error in print on the front page of Manila Bulletin is something else. The photo, the section editor, the proofreader, copy editor up to the editor-in-chief are all expecting a dressing down from Emil Yap. To the offended party, this is an honest to god mistake. Somebody is definitely gonna get fired, but heck, the caption did make a lot of people happy--that includes ???. (tomato cafe)..... What do you think GMA will say about this?
