Friendship establish rapport, trust, loyalty, and love.In the friendship stage you learn to open up to each other and display less pretensions.Relationships that have founded by friendship, communication will not be an issue. And i think communication deals a great role in marriage.Isn't wonderful to spend your precious life with the person you are more comfortable to talk just any topic under the sun?

i have been into a lot of long term relationships
i had a bf for 5 years, and 2
relationships for 3 years
it does help to get to know each other better before jumping into marriage or any commitment
i have been with my past bfs for a while, but didnt even work out
how much more if you know a guy only for weeks...worse,days?
