First what is it that they have you on ? Most pain meds will put you to sleep the first few days of use . Getting a stronger pain med will do the same .It could also have grave side effects to you. If you have ever been a addict ,I would not recommend asking for something stronger. It could lead you into a whirlwind of trouble.

Then you should ask for the lortab, knowing that it works for you.No seance in suffering. My remark on addiction was not to be cruel ,just a question.I wish ,I was more like you.I personally have to suffer through pain because of this. Hope you feel better soon and have the proper meds you need.

Request the medication but be careful. When my grandfather had surgery and took his pain medications, he didn't hurt anymore but he also couldn't stand up right. You should ask the doctor for the medication and then information about it.

I would talk with the doctor. Maybe they did not think you would have so much pain. I am glad things went good. I hope that the pain gets better for you soon.

Definitely discuss this with your Dr. He/she will be able to help decide if you need something stronger. Knowing that another pain med has worked well for you may help in determining what you need to take.

Some doctors recommend physiotherapy to relieve pain. Did you try that? Ask your doctor about it, if it can help. All the best
