Self-esteem is a term that gets bandied around a lot these days, often a little too frivolously. The downside is that self-esteem has become a cliché, an easy label, and the subject of considerable derisive humor. The upside is that almost everyone knows the meaning and importance of self-esteem— that happiness, self-empowerment, satisfaction in work, good relationships and success are all built on a foundation of healthy self-esteem. So how do you feel about yourself?

I'm not that impressed to be honest. I think I'm quite a caring person with a good sense of humour but, other than that, I tend to blame myself for most of the stuff that goes wrong in my own and my loved ones lives and dont rate my abilities or atributes in any area as very high.I dont dislike myself as much as I used to and I'm not an unhappy person but I rarely feel as though I've done anything well enough or that I deserve good stuff.... I'm working on it

I don't think that I am as positive as I have been in the future, but I still do not think I have low self-esteem. I just have some days that are better than others. Fortunately, I keep positive quotes on little post it notes here and there, mostly around my desk. These help me on a daily basis!

Ailing health aside, I feel great about myself. I obey the law, I am clean, I have moral, and I treat people well. If others don't like that... tough nubs.. hah! .. because I'm not going to apologize :) Cheers!
