have a father suffering from Alzheimer's disease

My father has been suffering from Alzheimer for last five years. He has already forgotten how to walk, button his shirt and many other day to day stuffs. I love him a lot no matter what. But The only thought that kills me is what will I do when he forgets who I am. He has been the only one in my family that loved me the most. Do anyone of you or anyone else you know who shares same fate? Please tell me how they cope.
