Dear mylotters, Last my brother brought 2 parrots and he begun to grow up. Before this he brought 20 birds and grew up. He says it is good to grow birds and it is like a different pleasure and enjoyment while feeding them. Do have interest in growing birds?? How many birds you grew up? Please Share you experiences ...

I love my pet parrot. When I first bought him he was a little thing but now he is grown. I enjoy feeding him too. I had 7 more birds before this parrot. I have a thing for birds. I built a bird bath in my garden three years ago. Everyday I can sit on my porch and watch those little winged creatures wash up. I love them.

I have 2 budgies, 2 Cockatiels and 1 male Eclectus parrot and they are wonderfull pets. Just for your infor Barry, they are not kept in cages unless they are outside enjoying the sunshine, they have free range of the entire house. And anyway, birds bred in captivity are not like wild birds that wont cope being caged. That is what they are used to. They would die out in the wild as they would have no idea how to look after themselves.

I have not yet raised any birds but I do love them. I would love to have an exotic bird. I bet it's great to be around them. I do hear they make great pets.

I had a Chicky and a Hen at one time. When the Hen got big he was bad. Keep getting out and running after me. He would pick my feet. I got so angry after a year, I had him slaughtered and eat him! I gave the chicken away. She did not do anything bad.

I have had a couple of parrots, one was wonderful, very friendly and nice. The other 2 were a bit mean and very noisy. All of them were very messy, I don't like having to clean their cages all of the time. So for now, I have birds in my yard. It is much easier, I don't have to cleanup after them, they don't scream and they are beautiful to look at. I feed them with fresh fruit and seeds.

Yes actually I have developed a liking for birds quite recently, My husband is very fond of birds, we had a big cage full of love birds which we later gave it to our friend some years back. Now we have two parrots which keep making all sorts of sound it hears, even the door bell and tries to imitate us and sometimes even some of the famous songs that are played on the television.
