I was waiting today for results for some very important medical test. And... just thought - maybe I will not check it out and live with this? And then die (if the results would be bad)...
I know it is not very wise - you can treat something if it is in very early phase. But - if it is already terminal? Would you like to know? Or live in blissfull ignorance?

Hi there. First of all you need to find out the results to see if there may be something that can be done and possibly avoid a lot of pain and suffering. Sometimes ignorance isnt bliss. Would you really want to forego the chance of possibly having something cured. Also I think so many paople sail through life not really living life to the fullest. If you found out it was something terminal it might make you get up and do more? Hope the results are good for you if you find out.

Oh thats great. I am pleased for you. I think sometimes best to know if you have something wrong then at least you know what you are up against and can try to help your body in the best possible way. I had a few things going on with my bocy and found out I have Multiple Sclerosis. At least I am now able to get the right medical help, treat my body well and enjoy life to the fullest!

In a terminal illness the progress of the condition tells the patient more than any doctor can.
If I don't know that I am going to die, how will bring to a closure all the things I had started? How will I seek a second opinion if I am an optimist? How will I enjoy the rest of the days in the tranquility I get after making peace with myself?
I have been a fighter and and am not willing to go away without a fight, even if it is with nature. Ignorance is not the way to it.
