Do you have a saving habit?

You should have a saving account. You should start investing a little which will earn you some extra money. Saving habit is the need of the hour. What ever your earning capacity is and what ever your monthly expenditure is, you should start saving a little on a regular basis. Savings is a must for bitter and better days. Remember those words of wisdom by George Bernard Shaw. Grain by grain-- a loaf, Stone upon stone-- a palace. So start saving from today and cultivate this golden habit. Your own savings is the only best friend of your future.

Yes, I have a saving account. It is important that we save some of our earnings. As nobody will know what will happen tomorrow. We don't have a custom to have a debit life. I love China

It is very important to save for the future. The economy is always uncertain, and so money for a rainy day is a must. Saving also for the future is a must, vacations, schooling, etc. Mylot is a great site to make a little extra money to save for a rainy day, or even just enough to put towards a fund of your choosing!

Nice to hear you again. Hope you are having a regular saving habit. You need something to fall back on, and there can't be a better one than this. It is all yours and you don't have to give back.

I just made both a Checking AND a savings account yesterday! I highly recommend people have both. Bank of America is a great bank and has a great online service. Hopefully this will help me in the future :)

My bank has a neat little program going on that helps me to save money. It's called Bank the Rest. Everytime I use my ATM card, it rounds it up to the nearest dollar and puts those extra cents into my savings account. Over time it builds up. Now if I could only learn to leave it in there.

So lucky. You have a tailor made system. Just leave the cents to grow into dollars. These extra savings will be your future best friend.

Yes, I have saved all my life and still do it now. In fact I cannot really stop it as it's a habit. My parents taught me this from being a very young child. - Derek

I have a savings account. I agree with saving enough money so you can take care of yourself. Right now, I'm just about to start college so I'll be using a lot of money but I would not touch the money in the savings account. It is saved for when I move out and have to find a job and depend on myself.

I have a savings account. I try to put as much money away from each paycheck as I possibly can so I can actually earn a little extra money on the money that I make anyway. However, it's gotten a bit harder to put away some money for the past few weeks because of everything that I've had to pay for. I plan to put some money away from this upcoming paycheck on Friday because it will be a much higher paycheck and I'll be able to afford it.

Yes, I do have a saving habit. When I was at work, I liked to save a little bit at the bank every month but these days, I don't have any money to save these days so I cannot do it. I think once I have money again, I will start doing saving again every month.

I agree you must try and find some way of helping yourself out financially in the future. I have two savings accounts for myself and one savings account and one child trust fund for my daughter, i put a little bit into each one every month, not a lot but the pennies do add up, and then there is the interest on top of that too which isnt much at the moment but over time you should see it add to what you put in.

Yes, I have a habit of saving. If you do not learn to save, what will happen when you need the money desperately for something and do not have enough money to pay for it. Saving up money is a good habit that everyone should learn. Every dollar counts. It helps you plan for the future in case you are ever faced with a difficult situation.
