CW Series Premiere Thursday, September 10 8/7 central. I still haven't read any of the books yet and it seems that I will be watching the show before I decide to buy the books. Anyway, I just watched the preview and I've been looking forward to some new vampire shows because to me there is never enough. I especially like this one just for the fact it'll have romance, drama, and a whole load of action. Try to catch it on the 10th.
There will be: Fear, rage, redemption, desire, heartbreak, envy, and love.

I watched it Thursday night. I too have never read the books. But I've gotten the vampire bug too, so I checked it out. I like the series. I just answered a discussion from a lady who read all the books and just saw the show. She was disappointed that things in the books had been changed when it was turned into a TV show. She said some characters were missing in the TV show. But I certainly enjoyed the premiere.

I haven't read any of the books either. It was pretty good from my point of view and I was really excited that I got to watch the premiere.

I have read the books. The books are always better then the shows. I still wonder why they made them into a tv series and not a movie I will be tuning in thought I want to see how closely they follow the book. It will be similiar to Twilight though the human girl falls for a vampire but not just one in this show brothers.

I think they made it into a Tv series because they would have been in competition with Twilight.

I actually just heard about this one. Will definately want to check it out when it comes on. I think we will be able to cach missed episodes online at the CW web site, too.

Yeah, I think CW will post the episodes once they air. Though, there is still 3 days till Vampire Diaries first aired episode.

I have all the episodes of Vampire Diaries that i get online on http://vampire-diaries-show.com/ site link and picture resolution and sound quality and picture resolution was amazing to watch.
