I don't really use them, but have tried it... they say they have more accurate pointing with more sensitivity ... i don't really know ... but one thing i noticed and did not like about it was even if you raise it slightly above the ground and move your mouse the pointer also moves, i don't want that to happen when i don't have much mouse pad space...
so what about you ? you like them ?

laser mouse came into existence 7 years ago..the first computer i bought to my home was with a laser mouse..but in my school i had only ball mouse...its weight is very heavy and accuracy and the ease of use were lagging..all the disadvantages of ball mouse was over taken by the laser..
now all comnputer users use only laserm ouse..
some people use wireless mouse..
i love them too...

hi,unless i play counter-strike or the other FPS games, i don't need too accurate pointing mouse, but my mouse Logitech G1 and Dell is enough to play many games.(laugh), i think the durability and hardness also is important for mouse,i have play Log G1 for three years, i clean inside mouse, it is still well at sensitivity.

Wow, I feel jurassic compared with you guys, think I'm the only one still using the ball mouse. My nephew showed me his multi button configurable Razer mouse and its really great ... no awesome. But the sentimental in me keeps on kicking in.

I bought a new laptop about 6 months ago! I had a couple of old mice at the house but got a good deal on the laptop so I went ahead and got a laser mouse I like it a lot there's no wire! But I've used 2 batteries so far but over all I give it a 9! tdemex

I have used a laser mouse in the past, but I just didn't like it. It just seemed that I couldn't do with it what I needed to do to get it to work right. The mouse I am using now is an optical mouse which has the receiver plugged into the usb port. I really like it, as I don't hae any problems with it.The only thing is, it does use a lot of batteries, but I do have batteries on hand just for the purpose of using them for my mouse. I really can't use a laser mouse anyway, as I don't have all the space to use it. I have my laptop sitting on a small table, and there isn't much room for much of anything else. Take care, and happy mylotting.

Hey,
Yea I actually quite like them, they are better than the normal old mice, the ones that have the ball. But if you lift your mouse up a little higher than the surface, you will see that it still works, without touching the surface. Make sure you have a good day, Happy Lotting!!
