Aw I'm sorry that that happened. Did she ever explain why she was breaking things off. Did she want a break or she just said she didn't want to be with you any more. I would first try to understand the reason for breaking things off. It may not have to do with anything you did. And I always say if its meant to be things will fall into place for you and you guys will be back together and if it isn't meant to be then things won't go so well and if that happens you just have to try and move on and that just means that there is someone out there that is way better for you. That's what I always told myself. Right now though, it sounds like she just wants to be your friend although I could be wrong. Just talk to her and let her know how you feel and hear her out. No matter how bad it could be or could not even be that bad at all. Us girls like it when they're man speaks what is on their mind and how they're feeling. I hope things work out and all is good.
