Here in our country you can see lots of old/used clothes sell in th streets. We called it UKAY-UKAY, there are different clothes to buy some are branded some are not. You can buy it less expensive because its already used clothes. Aside from that there are used bags, shoes, slippers and many stuffs. So have you ever bought used item? Keep on mylotting

Hi! Yes, I have experienced buying on ukay-ukay. And I could say I was an "ukay addict" when I was in college. It started out as a simple trip me and my girlfriends do but later just went totally on a different level. hehe We then started having weekly schedules just for our ukay-ukay session. It's really addictng. How pathetic this is for some people (don't really care). hehe Anyways, I got hook on it cause I get to have more clothes compare to when I'm shopping at the mall for brand new clothes. Besides, my shopping allowance wouldn't let me have a dozen of new clothes a month. Partly my fault, since I tend to be a bit choosy on branded clothes.haha My shopping mode when I'm in ukay-ukay is totally different when I'm at the mall, don't know why. Maybe I just need an overall mental tune up hahaha. Anyways I haven't tried selling my clothes, and actually don't have plans to. I just usually give it away.

Well, my cousin had gave me great advice before my daughter was born she told me to go to children resale shops because they just grow out so quickly that it is impossible to keep up with new clothes. My daughter had a mixture and all the used clothes that i did purchase i made sure it just had it's correct size and it worked for the times they were needed so there is definetly no problem with that.

I think the people of lower class has been doing this for quite some time already. Its only been recently that people in the middle class realized that it is more practical to buy from Ukay-Ukay especially if you are good at finding great bargains. Who would have thought that you can buy a branded blouse for a dollar or two. My sister is a certified Ukay addict hehe She is in an ukay store almost everyday looking for good deals.

i go to ukay ukay also but buy only things that i know is not yet that old, or run down on favtories. this run down are new but it does not pass the quality controller. i also buy my children at ukay ukay specially the clothes they need to use at school for example on dance programs. i dont buy then new and expensive for they will only wear it once. but i love going to ukay ukay. i have purchased a few brand looking doll shoes for me and my daugthers.

Here in the United States, we call these yard sales or garage sales, and I think in some of the bigger cities they may even call them tag sales. I have bought clothes and other things from these a number of times. The best buy ever was this flannel shirt that I bought at a garage sale for a dime. I think I wore than flannel shirt for 7 or 8 years before I finally wore out the collar and the elbows. It was a good brand name shirt, and I bought it at a yard sale where I think the dad or grandpa must have been covering for the lady when I came up. The shirt didn't have a price on it, so I asked how much. He looked at me and said, a dime. I have to remember to wear my pitiful clothes when I am going "Yard Saling". Have a great day!

hI there Busky, i know what you are saying. Sometimes I also considered that when going out in Ukay-Ukay ofcourse we dont know who is the person used the particular clothes. Well different people have different opinion with buying old clothes as for you you just want your safetiness. I also prefer to go to mall all other stores selling clothes that are on sale. I sell a lot of my old clothes on the internet. Where I live, people don't really stop on the streets to buy something. I love love to walk down the street and be able to look at the different clothes that are on sale but it just doesn't work like that where I'm from. I hope you found a lot of great offers at the Ukay-Ukay
