Do you believe in luck?

Some people don't beleive in luck. They say "only lazy people beleive in luck, we beleive in hard work"
I have seen many hard working people believe in luck. I have also seen some successful men say "I am blessed to be so much successful when people who are more talented and more hard working are far behind me".

Hm, Vijay. A very interesting question. I've had both good "luck" and bad, so in that respect, I do believe in luck to a point. I do more strongly believe in God, though, and often, I think we make our own luck via our choices, good or bad.

If you totally surrender to God, then you don't have to worry about good luck/bad luck. It becomes God's head ache, then.

i think i believe in luck, but not very keen on it.
there are really some things we now even cant explain them by science. but just accept when it comes. no one know what will happen tomorrow. so we have expectation every day, and fight for the goal every day, hoping it will be realized tomorrow, or the day after tomorrow, or just later. or maybe soon today by luck.

Yes I do believe in luck, but I also believe in being blessed and working hard. Like getting a promotion at your job for example, that is not luck that is just plain hard work. But finding a 20 dollar bill lying on the ground is pure luck, and being blessed in a way.

yes, we can't simply depend on luck. we should keep on working hard until luck visits us.

I am a deep believer in luck. I think I leave most of my work on Luck. And mostly Luck supports me. I am very luck that mostly things go in right direction for me even if I did not work hard for it.
I think Luck is what we should believe in and keep faith in God. And success will be right in front of us.

yes, I am very lucky indeed. As I said, I usually depen on luck and thankfully my work gets done. If I think I cant do something, I leave it to luck and do whatever I can. And luckily my work gets done.
So I consider myself very lucky.

i certainly believe that only hard work can not fetch you anything...
but besides hard work what more u need is the hint of luck.that really makes up ur day .

I don't really believe in luck. I believe more in chance if there is a difference between the two. Chance is more exciting than luck anyways...

Hard working shouldn't be the only way to success,we must make use of good luck.Pay attention about the enviroment aroud us,catch every opportunity,we'll get what we need easier,because everything happen for reasons,such as hard working and good luck.

I do believe in luck, but I don't leave everything to luck. I believe the ingredients of success are 100% of determinations and what happens next are purely based on luck. However, sometimes some people are just being lucky. Wonder why... (??)

However hard working you are LUCK also plays a important role in our life. It is not that only lazy people only believe in luck, god helps only those who help themselves. So I feel luck also is an important factor in our life.

Undoubtedly i believe in luck. Every one has her or his own luck . Somebody gets his luck and achieves what he wants . Someone just misses the good luck around him so he just couldn't be better . People always say that if you want to be sucessful then firstly you have to be hard working . Only with hard working is not quite enough. With some kind of luck can you succeed.

Fate, luck and anything of the sort is not a belief of mine but some people sure make it hard not to believe in. For example, do you know how many new millionaires there are because of the lottery. Or watch the world poker tournament sometimes and see how the cards roll for some. Instant millionaires! I guess some people replace hope with luck because of the quick turnaround gambling, opportunity and the likes can bring into their lives.

well i do believe some people are really lucky ... i have a friend and sometimes it seems like fate is on his side always, coz always when something goes wrong he is somehow saved from it... i don't know why it happens, but there is nothing such as luck when you have to make a successful carrier, luck only happens when you are saved from something bad that was supposed to happen to you... i guess you get what i mean to say here and yeah hard working people do not believe in luck... as far as carrier and job is concerned there is certainly nothing as luck... only the lazy ones say they have luck and can get something to work....

Hi,I think it is a good quesiton about luck.I do believe in luck,but only after I am sure that i got full prepared.you know the chance of getting lucky is very slight,you can not just do nothing and wait for a luck to come.No pain,no gain.

I don't believe in luck. But I believe that this word is associated to what we call "blessings from God". Everytime we say we are lucky because we have this or we experienced that, they are actually blessings with purpose. If you feel that you are blessed you would really be blessed and if you feel like you're not you just don't realize it. Everytime you're thinking positively, you are attracting good elements and if you're not, you are getting the opposite. Everytime you feel good you surely look good. And being the so called lucky is within you and within your reach. Believe in yourself and feel blessed and you'll surely end up "BLESSED".
