Is my fridge ever going to get here?

I'm getting a little irritated with Lowe's home improvement. I bought a refrigerator. They had to order it. We bought it on either Saturday or Sunday two weeks ago. So the guy called and said it was in on Wednesday I believe it was. We set it up to be delivered on Saturday. Well, I'm housesitting so the guy knew to call on my cell phone to reach me so I could meet him at my house on Saturday for him to deliver it. He called about 11:30 and told me he would be at my house between 12 and 12:30. So we rushed home to be there when they got there. Then the guy calls back on my house phone (luckily we were already there) and he tells us that the door on the fridge won't close and asks us if we still want it or if we want him to order us another one. I said well I paid $1000 for the fridge and I don't want it to be a broken one. So he said he would go ahead and order it. Well I came back to the house that I'm housesitting at. Then the next day (Sunday) I go back to my house and there is a message on the answering machine that they want to know if they need to order us a new fridge. HELLO I already told the guy to order it. So my husband calls the lady and tells her the guy said he would order it and now she's calling so is our fridge ordered or what. She said she would have to check the computer so obviously she wasn't at the computer when she was talking to us. Well today is Tuesday and I still haven't heard anything. She said she would call when it came in and she couldn't give us a day. Well, we have already sold our old fridge since we bought the new one. Thankfully the man we sold it to said we could keep it until we get the new one. I've already paid for my new one and haven't heard anything back. I'm getting really mad at this company and am really thinking of not buying anything from them anymore. What would you do if you were in my shoes? Sorry the post is so long but I need advice on what I should do.

wow, sweetgrl, I would be frustrated too! I bought a fridge from them several months ago and didn't have that many problems. But I was frustrated when they couldn't deliver it until a week after we bought it.
I would talk to a manager if you keep getting the run around. And if you can't get it within two or three weeks, I would get a refund and buy it somewhere else. Hopefully, this will be resolved soon.

Well, the bad thing is the girl that said she'd have to look on the computer to even see if another one was ordered was the manager and she wasn't any help. I could still probably go over her head though. If I don't get a call within a few days I think I'm going to tell them to give me my money back and I will go somewhere else.

I don't like to make waves either, girl. but this is one of those times when I would. after all, you are spending a lot of your hard earned money, so I wish you luck! oh, and it was worth it in the end for us, we got a ton of space for our thousand dollars!!

I would be on the phone first thing in the morning. If I was not satisfied with the service and answers, I would go higher. I would make it known that I am thinking of taking my business elsewhere. I would definitely send the corporate a letter stating my dissatisfaction with them.

I finally got the fridge after the 3rd time of them bringing it. I'm definitely going to write a letter to them.
