Do NOT get the PSP Go, its not even worth the cardboard the box it comes in. The PSP Go is basically a PSP but instead of being able to play UMD discs, it can't play anything except games from downloads. And once that 16 GB "hard drive" it comes with runs out, thats it, your done with games. The thing doesn't even play regular PSP games! The DSi, however, plays both downloadable games, as well as DS games. Plus, it has 2 built in cameras, plays music, and has an internet browser. And, to be completely honest, the DS's game collection is FAR superior to that of the PSP.

You should probably wait for the PSP Go, it will probably be better. Or, you could skip both of them and wait for the next big handheld console to come out, which will probably be in 2011 or around that.

I have a Dsi, and love it. The screen is bigger and gets brighter than the old DS. Plus it has a downloadable web browser and camera.
I have had several of the original PSP systems. The downside with them is that they are not nearly as durable as the DS system. I have at most only managed to get 6 months out of my PSP systems. My husband and I drive a truck cross country for a living and the PSP does not do well in this environment. The constant vibrations etc, seem to damage it. So as far as durability goes I would definitely go with the Dsi system.
I do like (and miss) some of the games for the PSP, but there are just as many if not more that I like on the Dsi system. If it were me I would get the Dsi.
