NO actually I have no teeth left, so my nice white shinny teeth are not my dentures..lol and those are easy to keep white. Thing is I had major problems with my teeth as an adult because of the abuse I went through as a child. You know that kind where one gets constantly hit in the head, face and wherever they felt they wanted to hit you day.. So my teeth didn't last to long with that going on as a child. Don't remember how it was explained to me by the dentist but it does happen.

Hi fellow lotters! Salt can be used as substitute for a toothpaste. It's an old belief and elders say they use to clean teeth with salt. So yes, salt can help whiten teeth and also baking sodas. But salt can damage the gums cause they're rough. Now, I don't know about the lemon juice.

Hi there! I have dentists in my family. Two are a relative and one is my brother. They say that teeth are more sturdy, strong and healthy when they are yellowish in color. They say it's natural to have a yellowish teeth. Some people are born with tooth more yellow in color than white while some are born with already white teeth. But you can determine if the yellowish tone is natural or not. If it's natural then you should have all your tooth yellow in color. Meaning not some but all. If there are only a few visible yellow teeth then it could be caused by taking in medications when you are young or you're mother have taken something when she's still pregnant with you. I was born with teeth yellowish in color. But I had them whiten a bit by having them bleached. I can't make them really white cause it's not my natural color. Ciao!

Well my teeth became whiter after bleaching but years have passed and they have came back to their natural tone, yellowish. The dentist says it's not permanent so I have to bleach them after several years.

Shiny white teeth.......... Hello friend, I'm sorry to say that I wasn't born with shiny white teeth. But I've tried different whitening methods at home in order to get my teeth white and the best solution that I"ve been able to come up with so far is to use a dab of peroxide of ten volumes or less. Put a little of it inside of your toothpaste and brush your teeth for about five minutes. You will gradually begin to see a noticable difference. Another home remedy to help whiten your teeth is to use baking soda or table salt. Both of these methods are pretty effective if done on a continuous basis. Happy mylot!

Well i think we all have white teeth, but what happens is due to eating wrong and other bad habits we cannot pay much attention to cleaning the yellowness.Teeth never remain white and cannot be retained that white, they will be yellow somewhat, but there are many other ways to make the teeth white through dentists solution.

No, I don't. My natural teeth color is light yellow.. it's not shinny white teeth. Maybe because I drink tea every day since I was child. It's already a tradition in my family to drink tea every morning,so maybe it's because caffeine contained in tea. I like to drink juice without straw too, because I like how it feels when my lips touch that juice. I try to drink mineral water and use whitening tooth paste. The tooth paste only works for 1 week,,my teeth become whiter, but when I continyue to use it, my teeth back into its natural color. About drink mineral water, I'm not sure it gives any affect to me or not..

hello~is the pill called acheomycin? My uncle used to take it to cure his disease but one of its side-effect is turning teeth into yellow. well, i don't have shining white teeth, either. I don't use medical care or makeups for teeth because i think it will slowly erode the protection layer of the teeth. So i just adhere to the basic teeth protection such as brushing teeth twice a day, gargling with water after each meal, avoiding coffee and such kind of food.

Hello mermaidivy, No, I don't. My teeth are not as shiny as I wish I have. They are just white. I did try many whitening products to get a better result but to no avail. Nothing seems to work wonder on my teeth. So, I think I have to satisfy with what I have!

not to toot my own horn, yes I have shiny, white teeth.I am not sure if it's hereditary or because of my being OC when I was younger.my mom used to tell me that when I was a little girl,I brush my teeth quite often.like,I brush my teeth after eating lunch, and even if I just drink water,I will brush my teeth again.now that I am older,I guess not drinking too much coffee helped maintain my white teeth.

I wish so! I take very very good care of my teeth, but somehow my teeth still have a yellow-ish tint. I rarely drink soda or coffee, maybe it's just the way my teeth are. I'm considering Zoom! teeth whitening, but the downside is that when you get teeth whitening, the enamel on your teeth are weakened. So i don't know if I should still get it :/

yes!Absolutely! You can say I'm teeth obsessed, haha! I take very good in my smile,my teeth and i've been getting countless compliments. I suggest you try baking soda with water after brushing, lovely home remedy. Whitens teeth in under 14 days, cheap, easy and lovely :) I also suggest you try Crest white strips. Those are very good and I've been using them for a long time now.
