Hi friend,
I am a student so I won't go to office. But in the college we are provided with a lot of computers in the labs. I have a desktop too at home. My desktop is far better than the computer in our college.
Problem generally lies in office or lab s computer are the effective use of the resources. Nobody utilizing such systems care for viruses and other malicious softwares, once a system is infected generally it passes on through server. Leading to worst working of such systems.
Enjoy MyLotting.

Yups,
It is really good. But most of the systems are corrupted by Virus and malwares. :(
So not good utilization of them can be done.
Enjoy mylotting.

Well, the main Computer that I am on most of the time is my home computer. I have actually 3 computers at home at this time, but prefer my Dell XPS the most. Where I work unless you are a Supervisor the computers are really not ours to access the internet from, but I have found that their computers are SLOW compared to the one I have at home due to the difference in ISP, and their is just so many things really that make me enjoy my one at home more than anywhere else for sure.

Same as you, my computer at home is better than that in my office. I've got a laptop as i need to carry it around. At office it's a desktop, I barely travel.

My home computer is my office computer, as my office is at home. I use just one computer, that is so much easier when you are a freelance writer and work online doing various things. That way you don't have to worry about commuting and just get up and go online to do your work. My computer is relatively new and pretty good. It is nice to have the luxury of working from home and being able to sit in my pajamas and type, like I am now.

Definitely. My computer at home is faster. Its speed is very fast.I just don't wait a second .But my desktop in where I work is totally different.I am not used to the slow speed .But I have nothing to do with it which is annoying.

My system at home is at my ownership and administration so I can do anything I want like tweaking for best performance but the one at office has a different administartation so nothings at my hand, so basiscally the one at home is better than one at office.

Good afternoon, youless. It is just opposite to my case because my laptop is old while the one in the office is new and works much faster, but in fact I seldom use the one in the office due to my preference to my own. Just a few days ago when I went to one of the computer shops, I happened to find that Lenovo laptop is now upgraded. Just more than five thousand RMB, you can get a very good laptop, which is 320G with the memory stick 2G. I appreciate the fast development of science and technology that we can always have numerous chances to get new products with moderate price. I wish you to enjoy yourself during the hot summer. Take care, my dear friend.

The one my wife is using is a Dell laptop, which was bought in 2005. It has some problems and is now being fixed in a computer shop. I wish it would be fine. Thank you for the information, youless.

I am glad to tell you that my wife's Dell laptop is now back home from Guangzhou, where it got fixed for a few times. It is working well again now. I wish it would not go wrong any more. I thank you so much for the best response. Have a good time, youless.

I work for myself, so my home computer is my office computer. I have a laptop, and I make money through my writing, and on sites like Mylot, so I have the same computer for all my computing needs. My husband also has his own computer, and also works from home the way I do. He also writes for a living.

Hi youless, there are 3 computers in our office. Two of them are rather old. The latest one is always occupied for it had greater ram so its speed is very much faster. Some of my colleagues book the new computer in advance once they have reached the office
My own laptop as well as the desktop at home have bigger hard dish and ram. Their speed are much faster than the ones in my office, yeah even better than the latest one available in the office
Have a nice day and happy posting!

I use the only one laptop at work and at home. I bring my laptop home whenever I need to do something. So I really do not have anything to compare hehehe

I think the work computer is pretty much the same with home PC, but the best performance would be from laptops like Apple, Compaq, HP and many more. Some workplaces have IT staff going rounds making upgrades and are on the move often. Therefore, the performance of work computer tends to be better..
