Another example of why republicans keep losing elections

The Arizona Republican Party posted a picture of President Obama smoking a cigarette, along with the following caption: "Broken promises, rampant government spending, and Chicago-style politics have marred the first 200 days of the Obama Presidency according to Arizona Republican Chairman Randy Pullen." under this picture is another caption that says: "Hopefully Obamacare covers smoking Cessasstion classes". This was a very powerful image on the front of their website.
The problem is, this photo was doctored. What do you think about parties doctoring photos to show the imagies that they dream of?

I think this is an example of tabloids, in the political sense. Everywhere we look we see images doctored up, just to feed the population what they want to see. It's completely ridiculous that people can't just accept things for face value and they always have to go around trying to stir up problems.
They want to make their subject matter look bad but all they are doing is making themselves look bad with poorly doctored up photos, and lies.
Like you said Republicans keep losing elections because of these kind of stunts that they pull. They feed us lie after lie, and expect us to actually believe them.

Come back in about 20 years and tell us how many times you've changed your mind about which political party does the most lying. I can guarantee you it goes both ways.
The republicans get into power and they go insane. The democrats sit back and watch. They are going to make the same mistakes! Then they get into power and go insane and make all new mistakes. A vicious cycle and before it's all done you'll feel like your head is spinning.

Trust me I may only be 17, but I have seen all of this. Politicians are dirty, vicious people. But just as well they are people, and they do make mistakes.

No, you haven't seen it all. Still, I commend you for paying attention to what's going on. Keep an open mind and think beyond the parties. You won't always agree with the one you choose to follow and sometimes the best candidate is in the other party. Sometimes he's in neither.

Why would you expect anything but childishness from the parties? (this WAS the pearty and not a group with the parties name? got a link?) Anyway, as A smokere, the LAST thing I am going to critisize Obama on is smoking. I think denying a man with the most stressfull job on earth his smokes is cruelty beyond cruelty. For peat sake, he's a grown adult, if he wants to smoke who the hell are we to say anything.

I don't care if he smokes himself into oblivion. He needn't be such a hypocrite though. By the time he's done taxing the heck out of them he will be one of the very few who can afford to buy them.

How was it doctored? You do know that Obama smokes, don't you?
He smokes but he tries to tell everyone else to quit.
He likes it hot in the White House but he tells everyone else to conserve and turn down their thermostats.
He tells everyone not to drive a gas guzzler but he has a gas guzzler.
He tells us that we need to sacrifice but he eats $100 steaks and flies to New York City for a date night with his wife.
He says that there will be transparency in government but he has all his papers sealed and won't release them.
And you're a fine one to talk about doctored photos when you have a doctored photo of Sarah Palin as your icon!

This is why you never come out ahead in these debates except in your head.

As I stated above, I do not use this as an attack on Sarah Palin (using her words are much more effective), I am using this because other people are using simluar pictures of our president in the same makeup. Turnabout is fair play.
