i love to read books may it be in the morning or in the evening. reading a book in the evening won't damage your eyes as long as you read under sufficient lighting. my favorite books are:
the alchemist by paulo coelho
neverwhere, angels and demons, smoke and mirrors, fragile things, etc by neil gaiman
the da vinci code by dan brown
the tao of pooh by benjamin hoff
jonathan livingston seagull by richard bach
the little prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
those are just a few of them. :)

i am quite lazy when in terms to reading books. i dont' have motivation to finish a book though it will be thin or thick books. i just don't like to read cause it makes me so sleepy.

I enjoy reading in the evening!Evenings are always quiet enough for us to concentrate on the book and we can't be disturbed.A good reading lamp is a need for your eyes. You can adjust yourself to have a comfortable pose, then you won't feel tired. What's more, reading in the evening can make for good sleep! My favorite book that is being read now is Economics and Fallacies.
Enjoy reading!!!

I read at night before going to sleep. My favorite books are Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas by James Patterson, Big Fish by Daniel Wallace, The Rule of Four by Ian Caldwell and Dustin (i forgot the surname), Prince Caspian from the Chronicles of Narnia by CS Lewis, and many more!

I have no problem reading a book in an evening, if I have the time, and if it is a really good book. I have many favourite books that I will read agains and again, too many titles to name. My eyes don't hurt, because I hold the book where I can comfortably see it.

I always read in the evening, and before I married I used to read even more. I sometimes get so involved with the story that I stay up reading until the morning.
I never had problems with my eyes. Lately however I have found that I can't see things up close, specially reading things with small letters and I have to use glasses.
I would probably blame the computer more than reading at night - not counting age :)

Jen14ed, I think you have been very busy today with starting discussions! I know that I have responded to quite a few of them! Anyway...... I love to read at night before I fall asleep. I actually like to read anytime, but evening is my favorite, when it is quiet and I can forget about the day. I think that good lighting is very important, I have a reading light attached to my headboard and a small one that fastens to a book. Do you read at night?
