If end of days is coming in 2012 why am I saving for retirement?

LOL--I think time will only tell if this predicted ends of days in the year 2012 comes true or not...How long has mankind been predicting the world is going to end??..seems forever and yet it hasn't...uh, yet. As for blowing it money wise...LOL...like what if the end of days doesn't come and one doesn't have a cent left. I agree with you though..for those who believe solidly in the end of days at 2012 and they don't want their money...they can send it to me...

OMG, did I laugh when I saw your title! Too funny! Well, I've been around for a really long time, and so far, it was suppose to end, um, like 3 or 4 times already. Maybe even more than that, and I'm still here along with everyone else. Hey, I could use another car if anyone wants to get rid of their's, and the cash sounds good too. Let's start a fund and we'll all get rich!

I will believe when it is happening already but for now it is not important to know if it will come or not what is important is that when that would not happen you have some money to spend for yourself. You would be the poorest guy if by the end of 2012 it came out as a hoax and you never saved anything for yourself. If that happens well the savings will be worthless but at least you have armed yourself if in case it did not happen.

No one ones when the end of days will happen. Only God knows and HE is not going to tell anyone. I mean if people knew that the world would end in 2012, they would try to act good even though they are not and then start to believe in God not because they know HIM as God but because of fear. The trouble is with believing that the end of the word comes at a certain date and it does not happen (they thought the world would end at the Millenium) then those who believed it and spent all their cash would look with envy at those who believed that God did not want them to know.

Well, I guess ppl still save for the future b/c there's no guarentee that the world will end in 2012. Over the years I've heard a lot of ppl claiming the world will end in various years...none of it happened. Look at the year 2000, ppl stockpiled food, water, money, you name it b/c everyone said that all the electronics in the world would crash on January 1, 2000. Companies even spent fortunes on programs to "save" their businesses and websites...and nothing happened. The whole "world ending in 2012" may very well be the same thing. I'm not saying it won't happen just that...there's no way of knowing for sure either way. I'd rather save my money and hope it doesn't end then not save the money and it keeps going and I'm broke. First, I don't believe that 2012 = the end of days. But I do believe it could mean the end of days as we know them. And if you're really interested in the subject you'll find out that people who believe the same thing found a lot more interesting things to do with their "remaining" time than blow off money. By the way, what's an "interesting thing to do" for you?

I have been hearing it all the time. The talk of the end of the world has been there for so long. I am anxiously waiting for it to happen so I don't have to suffer any longer in this world. I am too tired of making ends meet that I wish it ends sooner. The world is aging and it will definitely come to an end sooner or later. We will all be united in the next world maybe with more advance computerization and continue mylotting there.

What if it is not true? In fact I don't believe it is the end of the world in 2012. In the past people said it was the end of the world in 1999, but nothing bad happened. I think it is the same this time. I love China
