Have you ever volunteered your time?

That school is crazy for not taking your time! I volunteered for years at my sons' school. I helped in their classrooms, in the office, at special functions and they were very happy I was there. That was in the early to mid 90's though, things have probably changed with all the lawsuits and crap like that. My kids loved having me there and were proud to point me out to their friends!

well i am et to Volunteer for any cause, but really im dying to do it at the earliest..i havnet come across any so far..may be my work is keepi me busy.. But I always wanted to do something for the underpriviledged sections of the society..It s my dream...Have a great day everyone -: ) Happy Mylotting... ;-) :-)

Yes, a lot of times. The most recent was doing a one week community research with Habitat for Humanity. There were plenty of us doing interviews with households regarding community needs and problems and what they can do. It was fun too besides being a little difficult, because it was a rainy week and we get a little wet and a lot hungry but there was free food.

I also had 3 kids,but were a little grown ups now. Our company/organization is running a lot of charities where we can be a volunteers.We had orphanages for homeless kids and aged people.We had daily free medical check-ups too. But i always love to volunteer with medical missions,assisting people and having interviews with them.I love knowing people and their lives in different places.

I have not wanted to volunteered my time anywhere.I don't like to have activities anytime.I will avoid to join in my kid school.

i am a regular volunteer at this community service where we provide soup, sandwiches, drinks to people who cant afford it. we do this every saturday night. we gather 3 hours before dinner time and prepare the food and drinks.. and around just before dinner time, we will be going around suburbs to give away food and drinks to those people who need it.. it is really fun and i enjoy it very much..

I occasionally donate my time to animal-related charities and organizations. A few weeks ago I pre-packaged cat treats for a program called AniMeals which provides people who qualify with a week's worth of meals for their pets in much the same way as Meals-on-Wheels does for people. You have to qualify for the program, but many people do, and it allows older people to enjoy the companionship of a pet without dipping into their own scarce resources for pet food.
