I personally love the princess movies. I love watching cinderella, snow white, the little mermaid, and espcially Beauty and the beast. Beauty and the Beast is such a magical story. When I was young the little mermaid stole my heart. Now I get to share these stories and memories with my daughter. I have always loved disney movies. They just steal your heart and take off with your imagination. Its nice to just kick back and watch a disney movie with my daughter, and watch her enjoy them as much as I did when I was young.
What is your favorite disney movie? Why is that movie so memorable to you? Do you still watch disney movies today?

Well - if we are talking about Pixar, I'm there. I always have apprehensions with sequels from mortal sources, but Toy Story 3 I am waiting with anticipation. I am sure they will prove their divinity.
Are they still with Disney? I thought I read somewhere they are breaking up, but so far all their movies had the Disney thing preceding their own logo ...
My favorite so far is Ratatouille. Maybe it is because I like food a lot. And it shows in my figure ...

I am reminded today that this would also include Studio Ghibli when I watched their new movie, "Ponyo." Their most famous must be "Spirited Away," unless one likes "Howling's Moving Castle," "Castle in the Sky," or "Kiki's Delivery Service." They are another one I do not miss.

Lion King of course! I have seen this movie loads of times before, and is such an excellent movie. and as you said below I would definately rate it 10 out of 10. no, 11 out of 10 haha! such a brilliant movie. and sad at some points. anyway, I have seen lion king 2, which is surpreme, as good as the first lion king, and i have seen lion king 3, but I have to admit lion king 3 isnt as I wasexpecting it to be. hardly any lion king movie things in it, if you know what i mean, its all aout timone and mumba (sorry id the spelling isnt right) lol, so the greatest ones what I would reccoment to anyone woulf be lion king 1 and 2.

I would have to say that one of my all time favorite disney movies is Beauty and the Beast. I love most disney movies though. Recently I watched Up and I loved that one as well. I'd rather watch disney movies than any other kind of movie.

Alice in Wonderland is my #1 favorite! I really feel like I can relate to Alice when she sang "In a World of My Own" LOL! It's really memorable for me because it has been my favorite since I was little. We used to watch it over and over again. We lost our tape for a long time, and for a while Alice wasn't really that popular anymore, but with now that there's a DVD available, I'm planning to get a special edition. I actually have one right now borrowed from a friend. I still watch Disney movies today, although I miss the old style like Alice and 101 Dalmations. Just today we watched UP and I love it! I also really liked Meet the Robinsons.

I don't think that I could pick just one or two favorites. I love them all. I still enjoy watching them and really eenjoy it when I know that my kids haven't seen them yet. For me, it is fun to find them at pawn shops and second hand stores, take them home and watch them with my kids. I think that the Disney movies are the type of movie that never gets old.

i can not forget pinocchio. and i just saw it because a little boy in the house watched it. i didn't really want to see it because i don't like pinocchio. now that i've seen it, i rank it as one of the best animation of all time. i could even say that this movie was influential, the precursor of pixar movies. i'm pretty sure john lasseter of pixar, director of a bug's life and many more, would have been inspired from watching this film.

Disney does have many cartoon movies. My favorite one may be Mulan. This comes from a Chinese ancient story. And I personally think that Disney created this movie very well. It has nice music and great characters.
I love China

Hi tlb! You are so lucky to have a little girl to watch these
movies with and especially to watch her watch them and see
her reaction to them as she get older and understands them!
I always loved all the Disney movies! I guess because of my
age, Cinderella was my first and Snow White! I watched The
Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast as and adult and loved
the too! I watched them with my godchild who is now an adult!
Even though he is a boy it was still fun to watch them with
him and see his reaction to the Little Mermaid! Those movies
are and will always be classics for you, your daughter and
her children and so on!

Disney has to make some of the best movies. It would probably be easier to ask what movies disney doesn't make that you like. I think in recent years the movies are getting even better with pixar. The storylines aren't as valuable as the earlier movies.

I'm not sure if it's a disney movie I believe it is but I'm a big fan of Fern Gully. It's about this kid that is cutting down trees in a forest and he gets shrunk down to a fairy size and gets to see what their world is like. With the trees being cut down the humans release and evil spirit and now it's this kid and the fairies against the spirit and the humans, an epic race to save their world.

Ok, I'm in my 40's and still my all time favorite Disney movie was/is the Ice Age.....I just love my little buddy Scrat. I even went so far as to buy a jigsaw puzzle, put it together and now am searching for a frame so that I can hang it up. He is just the cutest little booger.
