i normally take 10 mins, but we have water restriction in my country, so im supposed to only take 4 mins. i found it really hard to comply with this, but im still trying my best :) my best record was 5 mins.. to compensate this i normally turn off the water while shampooing, or soaping.. LOL.. how about you all??

It is strange to hear that a first world country like Australia is having water restriction. In India we usually have a draught every three to four years and there is always a scarcity of water, but this never prevented anybody from taking a shower or bath in four minutes.
Well coming to your question, I usually take a quick shower, within 4 to 5 minutes, but my wife and daughter take at least a minimum of 30 to 40 minutes and at times I used to wonder whether they have fallen asleep in the bathroom.

Ok I can take a 3 minute shower and that is with washing my short hair. I can't stand when I hear other people in my household taking such long showers. It's such a waste of water. I don't understand why it should take so long. While you wet yourself you lather your hands or washcloth with the soap and start washing your body. While I'm doing that I have my head under the water so my hair is now getting wet to. Then I take the shampoo and start washing my hair while the shower is taking the soap off of my body. If I have to shave its no more then 6 minutes. We have to pay for water so you would think people would watch their time in the shower.

Every day I'm having 20-30 min. shover. I like being clean and fresh. I'm never in hurry to have a shover, Ill better wake up earlyer and have a shover than sleep for 20 min. Even if I have a lot of time I prefer shover than a bath.
